Sport Cricket - England in Pakistan

Smith especially batted really well at the end there( he has been incredibly impressive in.his start to Test cricket)

Of course it doesn't feel right that a pitch is used for 2 Tests in a row, but the cricket is far more interesting when the bowlers have a chance.

If we can get to 300 we have a chance, Pakistan have to bat a second innings on this pitch and with how frail they are that is not going to be easy, but they are in the driving seat now.

He will go onto prove me wrong but half way through this test series Stokes has bowled 5 overs and has one run, can only play when his body allows it now. You get the feeling he is never coming back as a full time player unfortunately.

It is taking a lot of turn!
Bashir 3 wickets already.
England will have to bat very very well to win this

7 wickets to spin in the morning session for 95 runs, they have 3 spinners as well so we could do with them not getting a lot more runs as its going to be a tricky chase on a day 9 pitch if they do.

297 to win- certain batsmen ( or is it batters these days) need to deliver this innings - while remembering it is a test match
And so far they are not. Poor batting from the openers on a turning pitch. Crawley looked like a tailender.

I didn't watch, but it sounded as if the pitch deteriorated.
Had England won the toss they would almost certainly have won.

Not managed to watch any so far this morning, is the pitch a shocker? Chance of a fine incoming?
They suggested that it is turning but slowly but the issue is low bounce.
Duckett made a 50 but was LBW to one that hardly got off the ground.
Pakistan have only used 2 bowlers to date- their 2 best spinners!

Having said all of that, there have been some poor wickets given away.
147 for 6 now. Smith 28 and Atkinson 'digging in', which Sky seem to think England haven't done to date.
