International News Covid-19 .....

Agreed - But he also wouldn't have done any worse.
Really? This is the man who couldn't provide a clear policy on Brexit for the General Election, it was 'we'll just wait and see' - he'd have been a total disaster during this time that needs some decisive action - and I am no fan of the present Government but they've reacted pretty well imho.

Everyone please get tested !!!

The UK is taking this seriously

New testing is now being conducted without the need to leave your house, so no hospital visit necessary.

All you have to do is mail your stool sample to:
Swindon Test-centre For Covoid (STFC)

Swindon

Please note :Large samples give a more accurate result
Just sent mine, I'm afraid I made myself a massive Vindaloo last night so they've just have to wade through the waves and see if I'm positive or not. I'm glad to have helped.

Whilst we're all bored, does anyone on the right want to try and explain how their beloved free market economics would have been a better way to go about things rather than the, let's be honest, socialist policies the chancellor has come up with?
Mmm in a time of absolute crisis trying to differentiate between right and left wing policies seems a little odd?

Indeed, it is more appropriate to congratulate Rishi Sunak on a. realising the crucialness (sorry) of the threat to capitalism, b. on reacting* in a way that attempts to mitigate the effect on those less capable of withstanding the loss of income even though it's because c. the 2 are inextricably interwoven.

The response from the government has been pretty woeful (Herd Immunity, anyone? lost emails) but for the Tories to have shown even this much humanity despite their leadership is impressive.

* the apparent shambles in the Universal Credit system may thwart this but he has tried and seems to be willing to refine.

There is nothing more petty and unnecessary than political points scoring during a time of crisis ?
Just take a look at Twitter. It's a cesspit for political point scoring. Some Extinction Rebellion local posts, among many others, are rather desperate for attention.

And yet you keep mentioning Greta Thunberg and Extinction Rebellion.
I've mentioned both once or twice briefly in the past couple of weeks. Most people would find it a stretch to prescribe that as "keep mentioning", but if that is all you have to moan about at the moment with all that is going on, I'm doing well :ROFLMAO:

In a thread that is nothing to do with Extinction Rebellion.

Had some context, but not as you prescribe it as keep mentioning!

No, it didn't have the context you claim. You could have stopped after your 2nd sentence which would have made your point. The Extinction Rebellion comment was unnecessary.

Another 181 ‘reported deaths’ in the last 24 hours. Whatever measurement they claim they’re using now.
