What @westyorkshireexile said ^^^^ its the same in Leicester.......... but you can`t say it because it is considered "racism". It`s not, it`s a fact.
Delusional or what???How did exactly is this new regulation up north going to be policed? Or is it just being seen to be doing something?
It’s not just the Asian community, although they have been particularly bad which explains why certain areas have been hit hardest, a lad at work and 39 friends hired a house out last weekend, spent the whole weekend of their nuts then all returned to work and homes around the country, he told me he thought it was all over anyway. He is probably not far from wrong, other than wearing masks while shopping
Do you mean that the pandemic is 'all over' or it's all over for people showing any sort of good sense while it is going on?... he told me he thought it was all over anyway. He is probably not far from wrong, other than wearing masks while shopping
I am a vulnerable 76yr old who has been shielding at home since the beginning of March. Even now I am worried about venturing out under any conditions due largely to the actions of idiots such as your workmate. How did exactly is this new regulation up north going to be policed? Or is it just being seen to be doing something?

Say it as it is, people are dying. What @westyorkshireexile said ^^^^ its the same in Leicester.......... but you can`t say it because it is considered "racism". It`s not, it`s a fact.
Not just Rotherham but several Mill towns in W Yorks.Say it as it is, people are dying.
Its the tip toeing around ethnicity that contributed to failure to deal with child abuse in Rotherham so there is no excuse to not overcoming that ‘difficult’ issue now, and shouldn’t have been then either.
Indeed, just used Rotherham as an example. Not just Rotherham but several Mill towns in W Yorks.
The Govt need to stop being so worried about offending people in areas who aren't doing their thing to minimise transmission and hit them with cold hard truths.
What is the point of wearing of a mask in my local supermarket down South where there are few cases of COVID, when idiots up North are persistently ignoring lockdown causing issues - idiots of whatever race/religion/whatever? There has to be more accountability, not soft touches
I did snigger at Starmer's consistent flip flopping in recent months... He started with school opening okey cokey and hasn't stopped sinceStarmer moaning these changes are last minute, but didn't he moan when the government announced changes giving weeks notices as too long away and needing implemented immediately?!
Andy Burnham aside, there’s been another negative response to the timing of the announcement, not just from Starmer but others in positions of influence but I thought the Imam of Batley mosque was at the very least thoughtless and certainly provocative for questioning whether this same announcement would have been made on Christmas Eve.Starmer moaning these changes are last minute, but didn't he moan when the government announced changes giving weeks notices as too long away and needing implemented immediately?!
