Seems strange and unrealistic to me, why spend money getting out of the lease, spend big money on either site to bring it up to FL standard? Why not just buy the ground then stay there until a new ground is built, then sell the old ground for houses to recoup some money.Two rumours I’ve heard today is a serious look at developing CPF ( not sure if that was for long term or interim use) and redeveloping the Greyhound/speedway stadium. Not sure if they would be at all viable but it would be interesting to know the square meterage of the footprints of each place and compare that with what’s required for a decent stadium with parking.
I’m sure Tiger has attracted all these financial heavy hitters to buy an empty dog track or a plastic pitch surrounded by a railing.
