How is he doing?

He has had the operation. Everything has gone well and he starts thr road back to playing.
Obviously no time has been put on him. Health and family come first.
Pompey have made sure he has everything he needs in both medical and time support.
The fans as have here realised football takes a back seat to this.
But Colby's desire was to make an impact in the championship. We know what he is like. He is a proper fighter and I personally think he will be back playing by the end of January.
Given this, it will be great for Pompey and the fans to see one of our idols back doing what he does.
It will be like getting a new really good signing for us.
In the mean time, we continue to send our best for his recovery

I saw this topic and wanted to pop in and say you guys are a class act. He’s likely to be out at least until January and he’s not being included in the squad for the first half of the season. Kind of you to say. We’ve sadly lost former players far, far too young, so know that there are more important things in life. Hope he continues to recover and goes on to have a good next chapter of his career (and life in general). Good luck for the rest of the season.
