General Club Leak 🚰

Think this deserves it’s own thread, But after @jfp posted about hearing Moore and Cam were injured from a sponsor, This shows the club has an employee that cannot be trusted.

I wonder if the club knows who the sponsor could be? And would they terminate the sponsorship?

@jfp replied "Not needed, but hey thank you anyway." to my post earlier. The "Not needed" bit was unnecessary. Perhaps if he/she treats other people's posts with respect, he/she will be more respected.

They will have an idea of who leaked the information in the first place. It will be a member of staff who leaked it initially and I am sure they will be spoken to.

You have to question the leak of all transfer targets this summer as well.

You have to question the leak of all transfer targets this summer as well.

ITK info and transfer rumours are a lot of fun and the main reason a lot of us come here. This bit of info did seem a bit different in that it disclosed that our two most important players were out, which hadn’t been reported anywhere else , I don’t think ( though I’m not on Twitter) and could actually have given succour to our foe, had they taken it seriously- though god knows how they’d have dug it out from all the other nonsense.

I actually think this one is quite a serious issue. The transfer leaks don't bother me, as there are so many people involved in those things from agents to friends and families, stuff will always come out. Team news regarding two key players the day before a game has a lot more implications - imagine someone had that info from someone at the club and then lumped massively on us to lose on the back of that. This is 100% info that should never be public domain.

I would say that it was a slightly misguided comment by a staff employee, followed by a slightly misguided post on here.

Not sure that heads should roll or bollockings dished out, but probably a reminder that whilst everyone loves a rumour or two, some information could be harmful to the club and may be best kept to yourself.

Weird that the seriousness and severity of club leaks seems to depend on who it is that spills the beans. Some of the people crying hardest are often the most desperate to be seen as knowing things.

When we visited the training ground, we were shown all areas, this included the managers office,
This was on a Friday, on the wall there is a whiteboard which clearly stated what the team was for BRFC.
We were asked to keep this to ourselves.
Unless security has been stepped up any number of people have access to that room, backroom staff, cleaners, caterers and sponsors.

Wouldn’t surprise me that there was a list of players in there that we are after, perhaps that is where @bigboyoufc is getting his info from.

Agree. I mean ever since I can remember on this forum and the Oxford mail one before, there have been leaks. Why suddenly a major issue that requires MI5 input now?
