The thing that makes me chuckle is that there must have been a conversation at some point which went like this:

“We need a light hearted player to model the Christmas merch - bobble hat, scarf and Xmas jumper. The sort of player who is fun, likes a laugh and embodies the Christmas spirit.”

Is he is loyal though? The key test will be if he’s en route to sign for another club and then we offer to double his wages and he miraculously sticks around.

Cam's wages weren't doubled. Sure they were increased but by nowhere near as much as you're stating

Let's hope he doesn't have to face that test, because we cant offer to increase his wages. Can't offer out any new contracts to any of our players, from my understanding.

He's had a lot of great seasons with us, but the first season in the Championship he was unbelievable.
