I'm pretty certain we've had far more success with Vaulks' throw than we ever did Ciaron Brown's.

I think the presence of Helik , Brown and Nelson challenging for 1st ball in the box, had a bigger say from a Vaulks throw. Thank just Moore from Browns

It's happened the last four major tournaments - UEFA wanted to make the Nations League mean something for those that did well in it, but they didn't want it to grant automatic qualification......so instead, it's basically like a second chance saloon. Win your Nations League group, and you'll get a second chance in the playoffs if you **** up the World Cup or Euro qualifiers.

Wales will still be better off beating Macedonia today than relying on it, though.

Win and they'll be on the #1/#2 seed borderline (depending on results in other groups), meaning a home semi-final against a lower ranked team and then a 50% chance of a home game in the qualification final.

Lose and they'll be a #4 seed (along with Northern Ireland), meaning an away semi-final against a #1 seed (which by my reckoning will be Italy, Turkey, Ukraine + either Denmark or Poland)

I don't remember that many of Ciaron Brown's getting as close to the goal as Vaulks generally did which would have had a significant say as well.
