I can’t see Parkinson being sacked as the board will back him 100% especially after three back to back promotions. Phil is a nice guy whom I’ve often met when he was at college with me in Reading. His enthusiasm for the game is unparalleled. Much as I respect Wilder I’m not sure the Wrexham crowd would take to him going there going by the comments on their forums.
I’d expect Wrexham to do pretty well with Smith and Hardie up front. I’m sure there’s more signings afoot too.
They’re wildly amibitious there and talking about a stadium of 50000+ just like Birmingham are. Don’t be surprised if they both turn a few heads in the championship.
Personally I hope Birmingham don’t win the championship in successive seasons. I want us to remain the only club to have achieved that.
I’d expect Wrexham to finish comfortably in the top half ready to do better the following year
