So a player who played 85 mins on Saturday is left out tonight because he had tested positive for Covid.

Chelsea have trained this week and picked from the usual first team squad for tonight’s CL game.

What am I missing? Surely they should all self isolate for 14 days not just be reliant on one test?

Unless they got tested, other players negative him positive?

PL clubs are testing very regularly so the other players, as you say, will have been tested again and been negative.
