Well - 'desperate' means something different from 'thorough', that's why they're different words, I suppose. I don't think we're desperate or thorough, mind. Perplexing?We need decent forwards. He is a decent forward. I’m pleased we are trying to sign him. Rather than just saying our approach is ‘desperate’ , which is negative, frankly, why not use the word ‘thorough’.
I wouldn't be making a big thing about it, but I don't want Evans here particularly.
