Didn’t Hull get a 94th minute winner on Saturday?I thought Burnley lacked ambition at Derby tonight - only 13 touches in the Derby penalty area was a stat I saw late on.
Derby had everyone behind the ball and worked hard for their point.
Hull unlucky to lose at Watford. A good performance that merited a point.
Yep, win tomorrow and we likely go to 16th place.Tomorrow is absolutely huge…
None of this, I would take a point nonsense.
We have a fantastic opportunity tomorrow to give ourselves every chance of staying up.
We simply have to win to leave the last 5 games with needing just another 3 points max.
COYY’s
A good night. Three points for us tomorrow would certainly put some daylight between us. Luton and Plymouth look destined for L1
Let's make It count tomorrow then. Will be a nervous watch that's for sure get a win tomorrow it's breathe abit easier Get a draw we are are needing a result against Sheffield. Say nothing from Leeds then It's onto Cardiff.. hopefully done and safe before the Sunderland game worst case.If we win tomorrow, then from the remaining 5 games (factoring in likely GD):
- Plymouth will need at least 9 more points than us to overtake us (and that's with them winning tomorrow).
- Luton will need 9 more points than us to overtake us.
- Cardiff will need 7 more.
And then, if any one of those happens, you'd also need Derby to achieve 6 more and both Hull and Stoke to achieve 4 more points than us too. Which would all be pretty miraculous given they all have to play each other.
Win tomorrow, against a low-on-confidence, injury-struck QPR - and we're almost there...
Put all the money towards their stadium plans. I doubt dropping out of the championship was in that plan though!. When we were in League one saying look at what Luton have done. Yeah let's copy the first part not the second.Luton are certainly in desperate trouble now.
They really, really needed the 3 points tonight given their last three games and their GD.
Hard to understand what's happened to them. They scored 52 goals in 38 games last season in the Premier League. Now, with most of the same team, they've scored 37 in 41 a league below.
Achieved with £50m in parachute payments. Hilarious!![]()
Means what?! You can't leave that hangingThe results elsewhere were good for a change. Hull losing means
I think Stoke 1 -1 Luton is good as well.Could be worse, 1 result in our favour (Watford beating Hull)?
I would trade being constantly safe as a midtable Championship side for battling relegation (and possibly even achieving it) any day of the week.Being a Preston fan must be rubbish never seem to challenge always end up safe. Least with Oxford it's always one of the other and nothing in-between even in league one it was final day get into playoff push or final day avoid relegation.
And never challenging for the playoffs? That's my point not much excitement not the fact of being an established championship sideI would trade being constantly safe as a midtable Championship side for battling relegation (and possibly even achieving it) any day of the week.
They need that for their new stadium.Luton are certainly in desperate trouble now.

Yep, Championship football is where it's at.And never challenging for the playoffs?
Yep, Championship football is where it's at.
He’s happy to be div 2 rubbishSo you never want to go up? Win the league or make the play offs?
Haven't said that, but if the binary choice is Championship football and relative safety vs relegation threatened season after season, with a relegation potentially mixed in there, then yes, I would prefer the former. So you never want to go up? Win the league or make the play offs?
Yeah I think the same. Preston though no excitement not for years if anything it's more relegation than promotion. Constant mediocrity Whereas we were pushing for playoffs in league one for years then almost got relegated in that 1 off season then made the playoffs and got promoted in all that time Preston have been in the championship since 2015 and their highest finish has been 7th and mostly 10-14th. Since then we got promoted to league one had all the ups and downs and got promoted again to championship. Anyway who cares Preston suck. Championship is pretty great tbf.Haven't said that, but if the binary choice is Championship football and relative safety vs relegation threatened season after season, with a relegation potentially mixed in there, then yes, I would prefer the former.
This. This is the most encouraging thing I've read all season. If we win tomorrow, then from the remaining 5 games (factoring in likely GD):

Id say all results were favourable, win tomorrow and 6 points clear of two teams, and 4 clear of two more...over to us now...its in our hands.
It’s always been in our hands though and will remain so IMO.Not too bad. It's in our own hands.
