EFL Championship tonight: 2/04/25

US as fans DO make a difference, we all need to step up and really get behind the lads, we are staying up

We brought in a striker in January, just the wrong one! The way Rowett wants us to play we’re desperate for a big target man who can hold on to the ball and be a target for our set pieces and long throws. So we sign Bradshaw.. I’m guessing he was Rowetts choice and that one decision could be a major contribution in us falling short.

For the reasons just mentioned?
What is the point being negative? We knew on May 19th that was going to be tough, and we all knew we would most likely be fighting for survival all season., to have seven games left and be above the line and in control of our fate is a good thing Football is an unpredictable game, and although we have a tough run ahead, there is far pressure on Leeds, Sheffield United, etc., than us. Pressure does strange things, and at this time of the, season you get unexpected. results

Taking a negative vibe into the stands will only transcend onto the pitch. Yes, we will need some luck along the way, so just be positive. Remember Bolton; no one gave us a chance, and that didn't turn out too badly, did it?

Does anyone think if we get relegated that Gary will be fired?
He has an "open" arrangement to be a Sky pundit. He won't want Merson asking him to explain how he failed to keep OUFC in the Championship so I think (hope) he will bust a gut to keep us up. He will be off in the summer though. Err.... hello Des, not got a job yet?

Des has gone, remember the good times but he won’t be coming back.

If relegation , according to Timmy, doesn’t put us off course then why on earth did we bother to get into the championship in the first place. Can’t make head or tails out of that comment, but what is not taken into account is the backbone of the club ,yes the supporters! So that’s what we are worth , cupboard laid bare ! Goodbye and good luck !

The club will have planned to go up but also taking into account that we may get relegated straight away. History shows that clubs our size won’t last in the championship straight away. That doesn’t say that we can’t go up, go back down and then rebuild stronger to go up again and then stay up.
It would be a very bad business plan if we didn’t plan for relegation.

Well we all can all moan and groan about negative Gary and how the world is coming to an end because derby won last night BUT it’s time we all stop moping and get behind this team . This time last season we weren’t going to be in the championship but us fans and the players come together as one and we both dragged each other into the play offs and look what happened. We can make the Kassam a horrible place for visiting teams to come we can make the difference

Let’s be loud let’s be proud let’s be Oxford united

7 games to go let’s not leave anything out there

Nothing has changed from last night our aim is still the same match or better the result of the team that occupy the last relegation spot which is Cardiff now

Only home games I've missed this season are Hull and Luton. I'm away for the next two ....... there you go!

Thanks to me messing up and forgetting we play QPR at home on a Wednesday night (not sure why?) that game will be the first home match I miss since the big 3-0 win against Cheltenham which helped us stay up 2 years, at least hoping my misfortune proves lucky again.

I didn't realise that Derby relegated us last night by winning. We are still three places above the drop zone and have 21 points to play for, with realistically needing 8 to get to the magic 50. Until we are in the drop zone or mathematically relegated, we need to believe we are staying up.
