Mate there’s so much s**t to disagree with on here already you don’t need to make it up just to argue with itAnd if even one person says 'I'd take a draw to keep Preston in the mix' I would respectfully reply with the fact we already need 6 more points than them to overtake them (even if they don't get another point). To us, Preston are gone - so let them fly.
I was listening to the Sutton and Savage phone in on Sunday and I’m sure someone said that Preston have 7 players out injured. I don’t think Derby will have an easier 3 points on offer than tonight unfortunatelyA Preston-supporting friend tells me that Woodman is injured, and the replacement goalie is even worse. Plus they've got a whole bunch of injured players. He'll be at the game tonight, but is expecting nothing but a defeat.
We have to win a couple of games, at least--can't expect others to do our dirty work for us.
Don’t worry; we’re safe and have been for weeks. I read it on here.Derby will win this, looks like we’re going to have to win some games ourselves
You seem so bitter when people express different views from you. Maybe some people underestimated the chance of our rivals reviving, but so what?Don’t worry; we’re safe and have been for weeks. I read it on here.
I object to the arrogant way in which those views are expressed by certain people. Having a contrary view is absolutely fine and makes good discussion. You seem so bitter when people express different views from you. Maybe some people underestimated the chance of our rivals reviving, but so what?
Some people do have an overconfident or arrogant manner at times. But no one really knows anything, it’s all just speculation.I object to the arrogant way in which those views are expressed by certain people. Having a contrary view is absolutely fine and makes good discussion.
I’m trying not to be pessimistic but Derby have had a nice rest for two and a half weeks and Preston have come off the back of an energy sapping game on Sunday. It could be a struggle for them as the game goes on.
Agree that they are the worst side I’ve seen bar QPR, who now seem to be quite decent.I just watched the last fifteen minutes, but Derby are still rubbish. I thought after both the games against us that there wasn't a technically worse team in the division than them, and it looks like that again tonight.
How exactly did they win three in a row? I guess two thirds of the answer to that is that they played Plymouth and a free-falling Blackburn......but Coventry?
(though looking at the stats of that Coventry game, they won 2-0 despite having 30% possession and being outshot 13-6.....so I guess the answer is that they were just lucky)
