Believe it could be down to Umbro and the club? I think Brentford have done the same and they’re with Umbro too.

Really surprises me how many people can take against a shirt because it's not got "BJ88.biz BETTING" or "Chimera energy liquid" splashed on the front.
Not having a sponsor is a bad thing business-wise for us, but this "It looks like a training top" line feels to me like watching a film and complaining there's no ad breaks. If I was getting one of the shirts, and I might still, I'd be rushing to get a non-sponsored one. maybe it's just a sign of the times.

I'm a complete hypocrite because I get the retro shirts and I love them more for having Wang or Pergamon on them. I'm not sure at what point a sponsor flips over from being tacky to being classic. For me Unipart yes, Buildbase... not yet, so I suppose about 20-25 years.
