We will just have to win 3 games to stay up, better to do it yourself than rely on others (well and the odd team getting a points deduction as well).
Still think 2 wins and a draw will be enough
Coventry and Sheff U to beat Blackburn (please) and we will need 7 points

We can’t control what we can’t control. Pompey clicking at the right time. Their winner against Boro was karma for their lack of luck against us.

Blackburn getting schooled isn’t a bad thing. Their goal difference is now -2 worse than ours. If we can beat Derby and they lose to Coventry at the weekend, there would be a single point between us and they’d have a minimum -4 goal difference against us.

All ‘ifs’ though. Just need to do the biz against Derby now.

No, but after back to back wins against 2nd and 3rd in the league, with our 3rd choice left back, who’s a right back, I think we’re okay now. Thanks for asking though.
So it was a red card after all?

Well done Pompy great win ,now please beat Leicester and let's hope we get something at Derby, but before that let's hope Coventry beat Blackburn 🤞🤞🤞🤞oh my goodness so many ifs and butt's

Well, that’s not ideal. As I said the other day, we’ve given ourselves too much to do in bottling the Charlton and Pompey games.

We are down. Decisions now on next season. Has Bloomfield earned the chance to try and bring us back up?
Would you put the youngsters in Kip?
Do you mind if the players and rest of us supporters don't give up?

Yes he has. The damage was done early in the season/pre season. He has got the team fighting to the end so he deserves the chance to see what he can do with us in league 1.

Agree. Very depressing - mind you, we should beat Bromley er.. shouldn't we?

Yep - they have looked so ragged

Ipswich were second to everything and lost all their duels to an energetic Portsmouth who were full value for the win tonight.

It was shocking from Ipswich and McKenna who maybe thought they could just turn up and get three easy points.

That was never going to happen with Portsmouth fighting for their lives. Portsmouth looked the promotion chasing team.

Mousinho has them hungry and incredibly well organised despite the injuries they have.

Jesus wept u have lost the plot .

How do u cope in real life ???

I'm told Kip's already written off next season as it all just looks a bit too hard

He has written off the next century.

If we are lucky him and victor will run off together to live in a caravan on top of a mountain with no WiFi.

And this is why I will always support Mous against those at Pompey wanting his head.

His ability to continuously get the players heads up and motivated after a run of bad games has been critical the last few seasons and he’s done that time and time again since we’ve had him in charge.

I accept he has things to learn tactically but that can be learnt. Finding someone with magical man management and the ability to get a rise out of the players that would rival Lazarus is like gold dust though.

Think I’m right in saying that if we can get a result against Derby, we probably want Leicester to do the same against Pompey. If we lose, we want Pompey to win and keep the gap we have between us and Leicester.

If we were to get three points at Derby and Leicester beat Pompey, we’d have closed the gap again on equal points.

Basically, let’s get a f!cking win on Saturday lads and get this under our control.
