Champions League final 1/6/2019

The streaker has been the best thing about this game.

Spurs have been better - of sorts. They’ve hit some dire final balls and Liverpool haven’t had to do much to repel them. Maybe that’s the hallmark of their quality?

To be fair it would of taken a bit to top that streaker, she was a class above the usual standard.

This has been a very poor final. I had high hopes of an end to end game, and lots of goals! Both teams giving the ball away, and I think if I paid all that money to go and watch that I’d feel short changed.

The semi 2nd legs raised expectations I reckon but it has just turned into a nervous final.

Quality shot by Henderson!!!

Last thing I want is an equaliser for Spurs. Bored stupid! Been a dreadful final. A very cagey affair and players looking tired, not surprising when you consider the season ended three weeks ago.

I don’t know what’s the most boring.

The game or how much Liverpool fans are going to drone on about brilliant they and how amazing this side is ...

Man City must be gutted, if Aguero puts that penalty away in the first leg against spurs they go through and do the quadruple, they are the best team in world football as tonight showed.

That game was terrible, spurs are destined to never win anything.

Spurs managed a few shots on target towards the end (their first was after the hour mark!) but that was a snorefest in general.

crap game ...crap result too

least I might make a few quid knocking these out to wannabe scousers...Klopp teeth anyone?

She looked pretty fit which is more than can be said for the 22 players.
Apparently she was advertising a Russian owned porn site:

Oh well hopefully the scousers will stop whingeing missed the streaker missed the quality of football......at least the result was uncontroversial! Two more games to go before the season is finally over fortunately we were on the beach a few weeks ago!

Man U fans having a meltdown. Stating Henderson is the worst player to ever lift the CL trophy. Ironic as Man U are crying out for a player who battles every week. He may be limited technically but has more heart that the Man U midfield combined.

I actually think Henderson has developed into a very good player under Klopp and England have benefitted from this. He is certainly far better than any of his Man Utd counterparts including the waste of space much vaunted Paul Pogba.

Along with Man City, Liverpool have been outstanding this year. Both teams are up there with Arsenals invincibles and Man United in their prime.

Salah, Mane and Firmino might get many of the headlines, but the likes of Henderson, Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have been fantastic and prove that it's not all about spending big to win major honours.

Man Utd fans can mock Henderson as much as they like but to captain a team that wins the Champions League and finishes 31 points ahead of them in the league is some feat and one that deserves respect.

Man City are above Arsenals invincibles, back to back titles taking a 198 points from the 76 games over those two seasons, winning 5 of the 6 domestic trophies available during that spell comes above drawing a lot of games to avoid defeat for me.

That Arsenal team would of come third this season, they were good but the unbeaten thing is overplayed for me.

It's still a pretty big achievement and one that is unlikely to be matched any time soon. I agree that they were not outstanding, but they got the results they needed when the pressure was on for the last 15 games or so. That is the mark of a great team.

You are right about Man Citys dominance over the last 2 years, which is why Liverpool deserve so much credit to run them so close in the league and still have enough in the tank for Europe.
