Ex Player Cameron Norman

Norman’s confidence must be shattered after being dropped for no reason. Yet another example of poor management skills.

His performances tailed off though I think. Not surprising though when you consider the level that he was playing at last season.

And the even more worrying bit is that the foul McMahon gave away at the end is exactly the type of foul Norman did on a regular basis so defensively we’re doomed with both right (and left) full backs

Good article in the Mirror before the Man City game...non-league to playing against Silva etc...dream come true...meteoric rise.
Not played a minute since...

Roll up, Roll up .... it's Robbo's Right-back Roulette - Who's going to start, Who's on the bench, Who's on the naughty step? Who the hell knows?

Norman went off injured for the U23s last night.

It didn't look bad. He got an arm to the face so most of it was precautionary I think. He was stood behind us for the second half and said he was fine. He was also giving words of advice and geeing up the younger players which was good to see. Raglan was the same and played well and organised the defence well.

It was a good game and we looked organised with some bright sparks coming through.

Question is what’s he doing playing for the under 23 when he should be playing Saturday, if that MaMahon plays again we might aswell gift them 2 own goals as he basically gifted Luton both goals on Tuesday

maybe an attitude issue

Doesn’t seem the type.

Radio Oxford said it was for his mistake against Walsall! If thst’s the case then all the team would be dropped.

Not sure how that kind of management is supposed to inspire confidence, especially a player breaking into professional football.

Tony MaMahon gifted 2 against Luton but still plays, first went flying in to a challenge he totally missed after Hanson lost the ball AGAIN in midfield then gifts them a free kick in a dangerous areas in the 97th minutes which they scored as we know

don't judge a book by it's cover.

A fantastic example of someone seeing what they want to see at the expense of all else.
