Ex-Player Thread Callum O'Dowda

Relegated with Cardiff today, and would surely look to move on in the summer to a Championship side. Looked like Cardiff's best player the other day and by all accounts has been all season, and brings a load of Championship experience with him. For me, even if you take away the Oxford connection, it's a no-brainer if he's available

Agree.
And Baptiste.

Would be interested but not overly.. I imagine Pompey will be sniffing as they’ll want to upgrade on Ogilvie for sure.

Exactly the kind of signing we should be making to compliment the investment type ones we should also be making.

O’Dowda does feel like a very obvious Rowett signing. 30 next season, loads of Championship games, solid consistent performer who could cover multiple positions.

Even if he had no affinity to the club, he’d still be on our radar.

Get over it. He’s Oxford through and through.

As George Elek said on the Dub, O'Dowda has and can play anywhere on the lefthand side, left back, left wing back, and MAINLY, left in a front three. That doesn't mean Currie would not play.

I was well pee'd off the way he left, but apparently he's been to Oxford games this season, still has pace, athleticism and skill. Even at 30, would be a good signing. Back Home, he's an Oxford fan.
