Aaaaaaah, the halcyon days of the CONference. Still don't miss them or the attitude of some clubs and fans.

As you say only 27 miles, it is bit of a local derby with a bit of edge, so sometimes in this scenario the clubs trot out the excuse "in liaison with the Police" will change kick off to 1.00pm to minimise drinking time. So this theory is then thrown out the window by giving an extra 2 hours of drinking time.

Big game, mind.

Chesterfield are in a genuine relegation scrap (which is ridiculous for a club like them competing against some really tiny opponents).
Notts County may be too far off the top spot, but looking to improve their playoff positioning and get a first round bye.

Course, there's still a long to go - but looking like 'Barrow on a Tuesday night' could be a very real possibility for clubs in League Two next season! Three points clear with two games in hand, and they've already won 7-0 twice in 2020!

Chesterfield lost £1.9m in their latest published accounts according to reports I've seen trying to go back up to the FL. Iirc, the Fans Trust are in negotiations to buy them off the disliked owner. But like a lot of longer term FL teams relegated to the Conference they aren't just a mess on the pitch but off it as well.
