Tickets Bristol City Away Ticket Prices

I doubt they miss him enough to care, he never came across as a laugh a minute and only so many PowerPoints you can look at.
I’m pretty sure Brannagan is the sort of man who will know exactly what this game means to the fans and will also hold a grudge himself.

OUSP member Andy provides the following information ahead of our trip to Bristol City:

they do have e-bike and e-scooter hire scheme in Bristol which is scan and go using an app for those who may want a different way of getting to the ground from the station.
Be careful if you are driving around Bristol because they ride these things like f*****g retards there.

Total allocation is 3,414 (2,503 + 911) and it looks like ticket numbers are counting down from 3,414 to 2,503 based on the pattern of sales.

We are currently at ticket number 2,770 which would mean there are 267 seats left with a current sold total of 3,147.

I’m starting to enjoy all these fans of other clubs just assume we are s**t and their team’s just need to turn up and they will batter us.
Only one team out of 5 has truly out played us this season and that was Coventry. Even then they had to rely on a mistake from us in the last minute to get the 3 points.

Bit weird they’ve promoted this particular game as their family day. It’s bloody obvious us Oxford fans are going to be toxic towards the snake and just the language alone would make you think that’s not a good idea to pick this one to encourage the wife and kids to go to!

Probably think it’s a nice easy three points!

Given the views of the rest of this division it’s not really a suprise, we are a tiny, club here to make up the numbers for one season.

Not having a west stand is actually sort of working to our favour for once, clubs can’t help but underestimate us.

I think I read somewhere, they've sold 22 thousand already ..

I was thinking about this earlier.

Back in the Conference, League 2 and to an extent League 1, for many clubs coming to Oxford it was a trip to one of the bigger clubs. The whole ‘you've only got 3 stands’ was much less of of an issue or something to beat or mock us with. We were seen as a scalp and players often raised their game against us. The unloved Kassam Stadium did us little favour.

This season the 3 stands is mentioned far more often, not just from opposing fans, but also in the media and pundits. It’s a stick to beat us with, a thing to mock us.

But perhaps as @holdsteady says, not having a West Stand is actually sort of working to our favour for the first time. We are seen as a small club in the Championship and the incomplete stadium adds to that persona. Despite what opposition managers say we are being underestimated, and opposition fans have that same sense of entitlement as we had in the Conference.

Yes we’ve started the season well, better than most of us could have hoped for, and huge credit to the players and management for that. However it does feel a bit as if the Norwich, Preston and Stoke players have turned up expecting to win. Long may that attitude from away sides continue, because we’ve got a squad of players to take advantage.

It’s a bit like they are playing the stadium and status of the club over the last 25 years rather than the team on the pitch, if you put the current Man City team out on Quarry rec they are still the best team in the country, it’s perception over reality.

Also they overrate their own players, Stoke have a post on their forum saying that they have far better technical players than us, not on that showing they don’t.

Again, we're given far too much credence to a few divs on a forum.

I can't imagine anyone involved at Norwich, Preston or Stoke even considered the stadium or thought that they were technically superior to us. But they were all out played at times, out thought at times and out fought throughout.

There is much to be proud of in our uplift in performance over the last 6 months since Bolton, and many deserve credit. But having a shitty three stand stadium has nothing to do with it.

Looking forward the the game. Getting the train from Gloucester with my lad. Is anyone concerned that City might start sniffing around Des if the Snake is sacked over the next few weeks/ months?

What a place / situation to go and win our first away game in the Championship!!

Now the Stoke game is over I can now start thinking about Bristol City away, just been to the station to get my train ticket, £32.10 return from Bicester Vilage, less than what it would cost me on the LRC even allowing for the £2 bus fares x 4.
Hoping we have actually sold over 3000, the club posted at 2500 but I've seen nothing else official.
Really looking forward to it now, first away win coming up 🟨🟦🟨🟦🟨

Going to disagree on this one , on social media, forums and people who I speak to belittle, underestimate and generally take the P**s out of little Oxford United
The 3 sided ground , the size of the crowd and spending some time out of the league being top of their agendas.
Opposition managers regularly say we won’t underestimate them But then follow it up with we should be beating teams like this .
If Des and the boys continue with our excellent start to the campaign then perhaps after Xmas these negative views will change then throw in the news most of us want , the go ahead for the new ground , the footballing world will sit up and take Oxford United very seriously
