Quite telling on radio Oxford after last nights game.

BdK training away from the first team at times, ‘majority of the squad wanted him out’.

Certainly seems Ramsey consulted senior players and they came to the conclusion to get rid of Mills and BdK.

A shame the club bowed to it in the end. Maybe we need to scout beyond the players and make sure we have a no dickhead policy for the parents also.

As an aside it was clear Williams had at least one stooge on here he could rely on to push the club’s position in a positive light when needed.

So Tim was quite smart in that regard, he also knew a useful idiot when he needed one.

Agree completely and it's actually fairly dangerous. Plenty of people will believe what they want to hear and if it's said confidently by people who regularly claim to have inside knowledge then it doesn't get questioned. It looked wrong at the time, it's been comprehensively proven wrong with the late move yeterday and BDK saying he'd basically arranged it months ago but this morning @Billyox has told @tatabanya "you don't know what I know", despite getting it completely wrong, and @Steve Gilbert is still laughing at posts that contradict what he was told, even though it's clearly wrong. I don't mean this in a points scoring way because that helps no one, but with how this has played out is there any part of you that thinks "maybe what I was told wasn't correct"? You don't have to work too hard to find a motive for the club putting positive propaganda out there.

People who know things post them from time to time but there is always more scrutiny on those who have less positive news to share. I'd never expect anyone to name their source, which is often asked, but there should be some sort of allowance for how reliable that person has been in the past and whether the news they post is always positive, always negative or more balanced. There's a huge communications void at the club currently so it's hard to scritinise what they do bother saying but they absolutely shouldn't be taken at their word, especially with something as crucial as the new stadium.

As has been mentioned previously, the club have used the forum in the past to drip feed what narrative they want there to be.
 
Whether you’re in the know or not it’s been pretty obvious his intentions since February, when he first started taking the club for fools.

Bloomfield announces that he’s back in full training and should be available for the Middlesbrough game. That game passes and we’re told days later that BDK has decided to have the Op now, despite the club (and medical experts) believing it could be managed. Conveniently in time for him to be fit and ready for pre season and any potential move. BDK reveals he started talking to Bristol City 2 months ago. He’s been lining this up for 7 months, didn’t care whether Oxford stayed up or went down. In that time we’ve paid him in excess of £250k, plus the extra expense of employing him, rehab, etc. In return he’s given us nothing back.

I’m really not interested in those on a quest to defend him, it’s comical how wrong people who claim to know it all have got it. He checked out half way through last season.

You would do exactly the same ,most of them never grow up and there agents tell them what to do .So pleased he's gone I hope he plays well and we get an offer of 5Mill in January for him.

He wasn’t flogged, he was selected to play for the club he was signed for as one of our better players. He managed half a season before his injury and we never saw him since.

The style of football may not have suited him, the quality of the opposition, the short amount of time on the ball and our weak squad compared to others in the Championship, may have made life harder to compete. But that’s not being flogged. That’s competing against some of the best players in the country week in and week out.

He obviously thinks he can hack it, hence the move back to the Championship. He wasn’t flogged, he was sold a pup and never wanted to be here.

My fear is that he’ll do well and we’ll have agreed some sort of lowball £2m option on him to get him out the door.

Really hope I’m wrong, but past experience isn’t positive when it comes to our transfer business. Particularly on the way out.

Fair to say CB saw through him quite early on.

I doubt it. City have now bought 5 central midfielders this summer. I’d be surprised if he’s on the grass before October.

Let's hope he does as well as Marcus McGuane there - though I hope we get loads of cash for him before he starts his decline down the league.
 
Just watched the BDK Bristol video.
Says he’s fully fit.
And think he’ll go down as well in their changing room as ours, if he repeats saying “ he’ll make the players around him better.
