The forum would encourage all members to consider joining OxVox during this important moment in our history. See here for more information.
How do we save on wages unless he is sold.I think we should cut are loses on him and get rid know we will be out of pocket but at least we save on his wages a clean break no loan deals. We need no bad attitudes in the club.
I think we need actively look to off load him we are not in a position to continue paying his wages if he is not interested in getting fit and making him self available. How do we save on wages unless he is sold.
He ain't going anywhere unless he gets another club willing to pay parity with his current wages.
Cometh Wednesday he will know if he is still an Oxford player and if so has to commit else he may find his career nose diving
His bad attitude and lack of fitness is bound to put many clubsI think we need actively look to off load him we are not in a position to continue paying his wages if he is not interested in getting fit and making him self available.

What makes you think any one would pay 3m for him ?How much are you willing to let him go for? My understanding was that his original release clause was set at around £2.6m. This increases as we get closer to the deadline, so let's say its £3m on there abouts now.
Would you take £1m just to get him off our books?
And if we did, what do you think every other player would do in January if we're still under an embargo?
What would stop any of them from throwing a strop, knowing that we'd rather let them leave than have bad apples around the club.
For me, its really simple. If the release clause is met, and BdK fancies a move, he goes. If not, he stays.
These are my thoughts. There seems to be an awful lot ot of hear say and conjecture going on.Apart from one comment from Ramsey that is open to interpretation, I've not seen any actual evidence that he has a bad attitude or is deliberately making himself unavailable. Clearly he is unfit and needs to put in a lot of effort in training (presumably one to one) and in the gym, but again, I've not seen proof that he isn't doing so, just a lot of uninformed chatter on here.
Hopefully he is able to get back to full fitness and play his part in shooting us up the table. We know he's a good player, we just need to get him firing on all cylinders so he can contribute.
Does still being under embargo in Jan feel realistic to you?How much are you willing to let him go for? My understanding was that his original release clause was set at around £2.6m. This increases as we get closer to the deadline, so let's say its £3m on there abouts now.

Fine him as per regs 2 weeks wages per offenceWhat makes you think any one would pay 3m for him ?
I had a shoulder injury similar to Bdk two years ago was my own fault fell down a flight of chairs after far to many drinks the NHS would not give me a operation because I am not a professional sportsman I had sessions with a physio at the Jr and done my exercise at home. I returned to work six weeks later and i do physical work was not a percent hundred but my attitude was to get back work and help my colleagues.
So if Bdk does not leave this window and continues to not make a effort he will be worth less in January and we will still be wasting money on his wages. Best get rid we have the lad from Coventry on loan to bost are midfield.

On what grounds are you fining him for? Being injured? Not sure the PFA would let that happen.Fine him as per regs 2 weeks wages per offence
What injury has he got ?On what grounds are you fining him for? Being injured? Not sure the PFA would let that happen.

Refusing to train or play.On what grounds are you fining him for? Being injured? Not sure the PFA would let that happen.

You can't prove that his shoulder doesn't hurt when he plays football unless he puts pictures of himself playing football whilst shoulder pressing a couple of dumbbells and having a great time on facebook.Refusing to train or play.
Simple really.
It's quite simple to get a doc to say he's fit or not
If his RC is 2.6M it won't be met. I'd move him on for a million, can see us getting more than that. How much are you willing to let him go for? No. He signed while I was on gardening leave so I never met himHave you been able to form an opionion of the man one-on-one?
But he isn’t refusing to train.Refusing to train or play.

Just playBut he isn’t refusing to train.
Bit hard to play if you aren’t fully fit.Just play
No it was the LW player in the late 80’sSome dismiss shoulder injuries as not that serious, to be honest it must be a bit worrying for the player that every time you fall down there is a danger of it popping out. Was it Baptiste who had a similar injury.
Would you not say @Steve Gilbert that, injured or not, the very least he could do is to turn up to the first home game of the season and support his fellow team mates, or does he just get a completely free pass from you?On what grounds are you fining him for? Being injured? Not sure the PFA would let that happen.
He's been training for a couple of months, no? When you're on the grass after a shoulder injury, it doesn't take that long to get back to match readiness; he's obviously not putting in 100% to get back to full fitness. Ramsey gave him enough grace re. different timescales and assisting Roosken, but then in a later interview he didn't cut him any slack, so he obviously hasn't seen the reaction from the player he wanted.Bit hard to play if you aren’t fully fit.
Maybe the club should fine Leigh too.
For being a prick. On what grounds are you fining him for? Being injured? Not sure the PFA would let that happen.
Nice of you to provide such quick support to Boris's comment just above. For being a prick.
