Bounce Back at Burton?

As we entered February I was thinking that 14 points from the 8 games during the month would keep us in the playoff hunt. That's still very much on but we need to get something from both tomorrow night and Saturday.

Would love to see Browne played at number 9 again - think it benefits his game so much to be in the centre of the park where defenders can't as easily hack him down at risk of conceding a pen/dangerous free kick.

Also as much as it pains to say it, Branners needs to be left out for a while, he still isn't quite right. So much possession conceded by him and it cost us at the weekend.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like:

Eastwood
Long Dickie Mous Ruffels
GorrĂn
Kelly Sykes
Henry Browne Holland

Here's a positive spin.......

After the Burton game, four of our next five fixtures are at home, three of them against teams in the bottom third of the table. Our current home record in the league is 8W, 3D, 2L.

So if we can get a win at Burton (and they're good, but not great) we'll be in good shape to force our way back into the playoff picture over the remainder of the month.

MDT up and running now. This one closing.
