It's not about whether a crime had been committed but someone, who is hoping to be our Prime Minister in a few weeks, conducting themselves in an appropriate way. The argument was recorded by all accounts and will be unlikley to look good if it gets out. His girlfriend allegedly was heard to say that he doesn't care about money, or anything else and is spoilt. If this is coming from his nearest and dearest, then how will that play out with the wider voting public? The reason Boris has done so well so far, is that most MP's and grassroot Tories see him as being the one most likely to win a future General Election. If public opinion is seen to be turned by this incident then his position might look a little less secure than 24 hours ago.

Anyway, in the unimaginable event that Gordon Brittas becomes PM, his wife will be either the first Japanes or Chinese first laydee. But which, he should be asked again.

Probably based on the significant number of Islamophobes in the Tory Membership, he has backed down.


Edit: It really is not good for this country that it seems we have Islamophobes so significantly represented in the Tory Party and likewise anti-semites in the Labour Party.
