Nah, what gives you that idea?

No you are being deliberately awkward, it's quite obvious no? White voice artists for white dogs, black voice actors for black dogs. Mick Hucknall for red setters. So can only dogs voice the characters on Paws Patrol now? It might be a bit ruff understanding them.
Strange to me that this hasn't got more of a reaction, as to me it perfectly summarises the whole issue. People who are against BLM love to point out how BAME people are more likely to commit crimes or be carrying a knife etc, so increased rates of stop and search (for example) are justified. But few ask why those people are more likely to be carrying knives etc. in the first place.I meant - why the comment - "Brixton - well I'll be."?
The behaviour is atrocious, granted, but have you ever stopped to think ....I'm mean seriously stopped to think why Brixton? Why Notting Hill? why does it happen in those communities and not, say Knightsbridge...or...Kensington & Chelsea...or Islington....or West Brompton....or......you get the idea?
It's kind of like you are saying, well it is Brixton....what do you expect, whilst shrugging your shoulders and shaking your head disapprovingly....is that about right?
Maybe if we did more to tackle the reasons why small minorities of the communities in these Areas act and react the way they do, it wouldn't happen quite so much. It's easy to say tackle the gun drug and gang problems, but maybe take a step back and consider why they are a problem in certain Areas first.
Going in hard with the Army as you offer would, I suggest, do more to stoke the fires than it will to extinguish it and if you really want to make people feel like they are under siege, disenfranchised and the "them" in society, rather than the "us", then carry on with using more and more force. But I would suggest it is a very slippery slope indeed.
This being a prime example - there is nothing inherent in 'being black' that means a black person is more likely to be in a gang or rioting. It must be a result of circumstance and experience, in the form of poorer prospects, fewer opportunities and a higher incidence of living in poverty. It is those issues that BLM as a movement is attempting to address.Choose to do something wrong and it can impact the rest of your days be that gangs, dealing, rioting or attacking the police.
Arseholes come in all colours I guess!I left this thread a while ago and won’t be returning but just thought I would leave this here.
I have had my thoughts and many have disagreed but one thing has struck me recently is that until colour is removed from this whole debate ( worldwide) it will not stop or go away. It is about respect of people and property/ possessions no matter what their colour. You have to look at this country in the past few days and see beaches turned into rubbish dumps and events in Liverpool last night. Add to that these street parties in London where police have been targeted, all this while we are still under relative lockdown rules.
I didn't reply to you so why are you responding unless your Scotchegg too.
I have come to the conclusion a t**t is a t**t and I take people as I find when face to face in particular. The first person with the sarcastic comment doesn’t win a prize and the feeling is mutual. ???Arseholes come in all colours I guess!

What happens with Cockapoo dogs? Or a Chihuahua dog that self certifies as a Labrador. #PoochLivesMatterNo you are being deliberately awkward, it's quite obvious no? White voice artists for white dogs, black voice actors for black dogs. Mick Hucknall for red setters.

This is a very complex issue that as far as I can see will only be solved by education at an early age. Instead of pulling down statues and trying to forget history and whether we like it or not current society has been built on suffering, be it slavery or mass extermination, or letting certain countries get away with killing their own. One memory I have which will never leave me is a visit to Belsen in 1971. Accept Colsen and Rhodes existed but educate children as to what they did and ensure that they learn from those dreadful parts of our history. But this is a 2 way street. You cannot keep complaining of harrassement and prejudice and then join gangs intent on destruction of your enemies, black or white.
Where I live racism is rarely seen and we are fairly multi-cultural here. But just because I hate gospel music does not make me a racist, in the same way I cannot stop laughing at Blazing Saddles or Porridge even though I am aware of how that can be presented. We are now looking at every aspect of society from cereal packets to face creams to the music and entertainment industry and this is a good thing in that it raises awareness, but there is a danger that it can go the other way, and does it achieve what we all, or most of us, (black or white) want which is a fair and equal society regardless of cultural background.
In respect of this specific matter what are your suggesting the UK media do? Should it be running campaigns to change USA gun laws?Another weekend in Chicago goes by, with more homicides and injuries:
18 dead, 47 wounded in Chicago weekend shootings
Four children were among the weekend’s victims, including a 1-year-old boy fatally shot in Englewood, a 10-year-old girl killed in Logan Square and a 17-year-old boy killed in Humboldt Park.chicago.suntimes.com
It will only get worse with 4th July weekend coming and epidemics of Blue Flu taking hold nationally, but not a peep from our media or trendy hashtags, just about Mercedes F1 having black cars. Ho hum
Doesn't matter UK gun laws are much better but there is still a need for operation trident which was actually set up by afro-caribean people to deal with gun violence inside their own community. In respect of this specific matter what are your suggesting the UK media do? I've spent a bit of time reading about operation trident following your post, not something I'd read much about, and came across this article...Doesn't matter UK gun laws are much better but there is still a need for operation trident which was actually set up by afro-caribean people to deal with gun violence inside their own community.
