I've seen nothing that says 'subject to international clearance' so I'm guessing that's already been sorted? In which case you'd expect him to feature against Brighton

It’s the same even at grass roots level. Up here, if you play for a team in wales and then sign for a team in Chester or on the Wirral, you have to get ‘international clearance’.

International clearance is to do with the change of registration from one FA to another. Davies is an English player registered to the Scottish FA hence why international clearance is needed.

Doesn't matter what his nationality is, if he's registered to a different FA then he needs international clearance in order to register for the EFA (or any other FA)

I was merely reflecting what someone else posted I don't know if there is such a regulation between different FA bodies in UK whether it's Scotland to England or whatever - extra paperwork maybe anyway as the deal seemingly done on Thursday. Sorry

No, you're absolutely right. I just meant that there's no indication that international clearance is still outstanding so I imagine it's been sorted – just not in time for him to be able to play today
