I appreciate there is a thread for season tickets, memberships etc but it might be useful to have one just specifically reviewing the away membership card.
The purpose of the away membership was, I assume, to avoid the Peterborough fiasco where some regular away ST supporters did not get a ticket. I don't think charging just £30 fulfilled this objective, whereby some people just paid the £30 for convenience or guarantee of getting a ticket for a one off (or two) big match, which because of the cap of 1,000 has left some genuine away ST supporters without the away membership.
They could have set it, to affectively test the commitment of the supporters by making the price effectively an upfront payment for the away match tickets, something along the lines of:-

Category A
Set the price at £150, but this will give you a credit of £10 per match for up to 15 away games. Therefore no cost to the supporter that is attending 15 away games. They might sell 300 of these, hence these supporters are 100% guaranteed a ticket every game.
Category B
Set the price at £120, and give a £10 credit for 10 away games. Possibly 500 might go for this. Net cost £20. Again a near guarantee to get a ticket.
Category C
Set the price at £80, and again give £10 credit for 5 away games. Net cost £30.

All above for ST holders, then:-
Category D
For non ST holders but conditions same at Category B.
Category E
ST holders, admin fee of £30. No credit
Category F
ST holders no fee.

As tickets come on sale each category has 24 hours.
