General Around the leagues

At York v Gillingham, will glass Goodwin gone off injured.can definitely tell ainsworth managing Gillingham, Gillingham poor.york decent with their 23 looking like dembele (our).Pearce up front for York looking a handful.decent ground at York, plus I can get phone signal in my seat, that might catch on....

I'm currently watching Wycombe v Reading. To say there is a shortage of quality would be an understatement.

Neither side can progress the ball very well. Neither plays with any authority.

I also had a watch of this. Real lack of football on display. Both teams humping up the field aimlessly. Nowhere near a home sell out. The Reading end looked full.

The Wycombe end has a restricted capacity this season (season tickets only) due to the fact that it is starting to crumble away.
Yes indeed. It has a reduced capacity of 8900 instead of 9800 however they still had less than 7200 today

Deserved win for York....quite a few students in the stand I was in,got me thinking, what do the club do to encourage students to come to games?we are all aware of the areas of the ground which has seats empty, can the club do something with universities,as it's Freshers week,do some sort of deal with them.being a season ticket holder,I don't care if we give a couple of hundred tickets away, even if ten come back next home game, that's something, yes we need the money with the embargo, but I'd rather someone in an empty seat, than no one.

Be interesting to see how he gets on....

Going to Burton Vs Huddersfield today. I predict a Huddersfield win obviously both could go top with a win Burton doing well. We would have 3 games on Burton and 2 on Huddersfield. Being only one point behind both at the mo is pretty good. Could do with a draw here. Although if anything a Burton win would be great. We haven't played in a age it seems.

Scummers have not scored an away goal this season. Ripley kept the score down to 1 with some good saves late on. Clock ticking for Ollie?

Saw the second half of Reading v Bradford. Reading earned a draw with a good 15 mins after half time. That seems to be league one this year, a good 15-20 mins might get you a result.

Bradford had slightly better quality when moving the ball, but neither side looked great and it was very often stop-start and lacking a bit.

Plymouth are top having already played 3 games more than us. The league looks a bit distorted now.

FAC 3rd qualifying round
Oxford City 5 Enfield 1
Thame 0 Eastbourne 0
Finished 6-1 to City. Entertaining game with both sides playing some decent football. Probably Enfield's undoing: if they'd played a low block and kicked Ashby up in the air a few times before starting to play they may have had more joy. City even missed a first-half pen when it was 2-1.

I watched a bit of Chesterfield Vs. Tranmere earlier.
Louie Marsh for Chesterfield was very impressive, on loan from Sheff. Utd., looks a good prospect.
George McEachran also played well but probably at his level.

Vaulks looked like he was struggling.
