Decent signing for Bromley yesterday ; midfielder Kamil Conteh joins from Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee:

Bromley sign Luton striker Ethon Archer on a season-long loan deal.

West Ham announce the club have sold 50,000 season tickets:

30% more than the capacity of Upton Park. I bet most of their fans would still rather they play at a ground that has character, even if it meant not selling so many more tickets.
The new ground is incredibly accessible from London and Essex, they’re an easy team for the geezers to follow. From what I remember Upton Park was a great old school ground though.

I only went once, to watch us there in the Carling Cup when they beat us with a stoppage time Scott Parker winner, which we really could/should have won. Such a great atmosphere in that ground, helped by having the fans so close to the pitch - the absolute opposite of what they have now!

Tezgel to Wycombe on loan from Dtoke. Already done well at Crewe with loads of goals
One they got away

Snap - I too only went there once and for that game. I still remember it pretty vividly. It was a great, atmospheric ground and I am *still* gutted that we lost it so late! I can't say I have any desire to go their new gaff - it looks pretty awful.

Went there a few times. Always a good atmosphere Vs West Ham. Charlton not so much unsurprisingly.

Defoe lasted the whole of 4 months! Sounds like there was a falling out with the director of football.

Seems quite damning, without going into detail.

Leyton Orient stand firm on the club’s £5m valuation of striker Dom Ballard.
Ballard 21, when at Southampton, had loans at Reading , Cambridge and Blackpool before his breakthrough season at L1 last season.

Richie Wellens mentions the £10m package for Will Lankshear.

Burton Albion improve the facilities for both home and away fans:

Pre-season friendlies mean Jack, but a strong looking Lincoln are thrashed at Grimsby:
