So was it concussion or a collar bone injury

Not in the squad Saturday suggests the latter. Seems rather strange the club are keeping the details rather quiet.

Both I believe/maybe ribs too - a horrible heavy fall no thanks to oppo player. Shorty did allude to such and what with concussion protocols. The club do not go into great detail now about medical conditions now as a matter of course and in relation to individual privacy.

Thought MB said it wasn’t as serious as first thought, hopefully he’s around the training ground doing light work or hopefully more, with it being the management teams first full week without any midweek games.

I swear I heard Bloomfield (at least I think it was him) say in the build up on Saturday that it is thankfully not as bad as first thought. I assumed that meant it wasn't a collar bone break, but still if it's damage around it or he's popped a rib, that's a few weeks out I would think . . .

Great dilemma to have,if Shemmy and donley are back on Saturday,who comes out for them? presumably on the bench due to fitness and why change a winning team.
