They wouldn't be daft enough to buy just the ground. It would have to be the whole development for that to make any sense. They'd have to offer Kassam a hell of a lot of money (current land value, possible land value for building, current buildings and stadium, profits from rents etc etc etc) for that. And is Grenoble Road ever going to be an 'aspirational' destination for these tourists who've done the city centre and Bicester to make the third leg of their Oxford trip?

Buyinh just the ground is fine but FK could make headway in the car park which could be of a hindrance to Oxford. Just think if we had the Ozone and the Holiday Inn Express as well as the stadium, the income we could raise for OUFC and how benefitial it would be to OUFC.

....and take over the lease for the Priory ..... thatd help fill the coffers to beyond bursting point ;):giggle::D

That maybe but I would love to know where they could find a site bigger than what we have at the moment in Oxford

If you had decent public transport links you wouldn't need somewhere of the same size. The footprint of the Kassam and associated businesses must be one of the biggest in the country as far as football stadiums go.
