Thanks for the tip. First visit to this ground for me - just wanted to break the monotony of the off-season by watching some proper football now the internationals are over. My weekends feel a bit rudderless when the domestic season isn’t going on!There’s a lot of parking around the area. Been there lots as local to the area
That’s a very good question. Thanks for the tip. First visit to this ground for me - just wanted to break the monotony of the off-season by watching some proper football now the internationals are over. My weekends feel a bit rudderless when the domestic season isn’t going on!
Any recommendations on decent pubs?
And any trialists! Can't wait to see how the new signings get on.
Used to be our closest away game, living in Liphook made it an easy trip. Bit further to go these days! There’s a lot of parking around the area. Been there lots as local to the area
Also no mention of players like Danny Hylton and James Henry who have played for both and were very popular here. Very odd.Official preview:
Interesting that there's no mention of Scott Davies being a (very popular) former player
Aldershot Town ticket office 0152 320211. Give them a ringI can’t find any away ticket details for tonight, so assume it’s just pay on the gate, right?
Digit missed on the dialling code, it should be 01252 320211.Aldershot Town ticket office 0152 320211. Give them a ring
A great little pub and always welcomed away fans. I remember a small group of our younger fans at the time singing 'Alltheshit' in their and got told to shut up very quickly by our own fans.I'm disappointed to read of the demise of the La Fontaine pub in Adershot, a regular pre-match venue during the League 2 days. It has a birds's eye view of the ground and a friendly cat. My parking space along the road could always be found because nobody swept up the broken glass in the gutter for years.
Indeed....- it may also indicate absentees at this first PSF under Ramsey, are not,, as yet, up to the required level of ( pre season) fitness, or for that matter are carrying a knock, pull or tweak?I think the more interesting point today is who may not be playing or there?
sad to hear that - agree La Fontaine was a decent away pubI'm disappointed to read of the demise of the La Fontaine pub in Adershot, a regular pre-match venue during the League 2 days.
