Last time I did this we won - and my God do we need a win tomorrow.

Conference throwback time. There’ll be the usual poxy view, the usual home team hammer throwing, the usual Kent Wombles flag behind the goal.

Robinson is hated by their supporters for obvious reasons so it will be a spiky atmosphere.

It’s a real acid test. Think we can win 1-0 c/o a Garbutt goal direct from a corner. Which none of the OUFC fans actually see.

COYY.

I can see us consolidating after our triumphant mid-week performance. Goal-less draw. Manager blames the alignment of the stars for our failure to have 1 shot on target.

On past form they will shellack us with high balls at the keeper. Hope Mitch has the Voltaren ready for after the match cos he is gonna be hurting. Certainly a contrast to Zinchenko and Foden...

I predict goals aplenty for a change. 3-1 or 3-2 to us.

I hope we go there and act like complete winkers from the first till last minute. If we can defend like we did on Tuesday (in terms of structure and shape), we'll get something from the game

This will be my first trip there to actually see a game, I made it to the supporters bar pre match a couple of years ago en route to the England v Ireland egg chasing at Twickenham.
My boy, at 6ft 5in, has more chance of seeing much of the game than I have at 5ft 8ins, I'm just praying for a win as been a long time since we started anywhere as near badly as this season.
Going by train from Bicester to Marylebone then Waterloo to Norbiton…….bloody fare has gone up since Charlton away last season so it better be bloody worth it.
Come on you YELLOWS!!

Reluctantly trudging along to see (well, maybe two-thirds) this one. I guess performance here will impact on how many more I can muster up for this season.

I expect the usual from all sides. AFC Wimbledon - solid, physical, hoofy. Us - predictable, slow, lacking up front. If it's any consolation they have lost 5 of their last 6, but aside from one game by only a one goal margin. No Lyle Taylor for them anymore, thankfully.

That said, 1-0 win to the home side, I'm afraid ...

Wonder if there'll be a few of KRs fellow scousers knocking out these 'see around corners' contraptions on the cheap at tomorrows match?.....

My first match of the season hoping we aren't as bad in real life as it sounds from the radio. That said we never win there we cant cope with their physical play since time eternal a narrow 1-0 win for one probably Oxford. Season ticket holder last year but after the poor performances and similar bad mistakes made in recruitment this year decided not to renew so come on KR and show me that it's worth getting a 1/2 season ticket at christmas.

Don't expect to see much of the game!

Think I’m right in saying they have yet to win at home this year, including against an U23 side in the Checkatrade. They’re many of the experts’ preseason favourites to go down, and their form thus far seems to justify that tag. That said, they don’t tend to lose by much, so it seems like they’re a solid team who generally keep it tight but lose by the odd goal, and can’t score. Basically exactly the same as us.

Bringing a couple of London based friends along, who last came to Charlton last year, so I think they’re expecting another 5 goal thriller, which is a shame because I reckon this has got under 2.5 goals written all over it.

A frustrating 0-0 that, in the grand scheme of things, will be a welcome point.

What do we reckon about the lineup compared to Tuesday - give them all another go after putting in such a great effort, or rest a load of them because of the great effort they put in??
Norman and Carruthers in contention to come onto the bench, Raglan and perhaps McMahon vulnerable?
Mousinho to come into the XI, maybe Henry too, will Long get another start and who gets the job of playing up front to attract all the abuse from the crowd?

Depends who has 'picked up knocks' (?) on the training ground since Tues night....and who is in favour with the 3 stooges (KR, SD & DF) today/tomorrow as apart from throwing darts while blindfolded at a 'dartboard' modified to have squad numbers, I for one really can't follow how the first team coaches decide on who gets a start, who is on the bench and who gets left out? team selection this season seems similar to picking lottery numbers!:unsure::unsure:

Any recommendations for (half-)decent boozers near the “ground”?
