General Accounts for last year up on Companies House

The enormous value of our player sales (£5.7 for one year is mad, up from £670k) is basically entirely accountable for our profit. Given our overall profit/loss improvement was about 5.7m, and the net improvement on the player sales figures was about £5m, it's pretty clear how essential it is that we sell players every year to stay afloat.

Huge return on player sales but I guess the trade off/gamble here is if we didn’t sell would we have made it into the championship and would that in turn have returned a far greater income stream/profit.

Certainly not in the current climate, so in hindsight an excellent bit of business.

But if we are to progress maybe we do have to take that gamble, hold onto valuable players and roll the dice.

s**t or bust?, or tread water for ever and a day whilst occasionally teasing for a sniff at promotion.

Next years accounts will show how bad things have been with the pandemic
