A piece of trivia - 29th Feb

Tomorrow will be only our 3rd game ever on 29th February - the other 2 being away to Blackburn in 1992 (1-1, Durnin), and the 2-1 FA Cup 6th Round defeat v Preston in 1964 which of course was our biggest ever home attendance.
Not a lot of people know that.

I'llve seen 2 of the 3 then ( come 5pm tomorrow).... Im still bitter about that '64 Preston cup defeat, damn referee didnt seem to grasp the relatively new (back then) offside rule .... Nowt new about referees being a bit crap, its similar 56 years on

BTW, Single chaps, who wish to remain single, try n avoid single women for the duration of 29th feb - ( I will be, just in case )
