Let’s make sure we create a racket today and take it to them off the pitch. The boys in yellow need your support !

@Northstandboy can we include scoring for the atmosphere in the ratings survey above ? We hold the players to account, let’s measure ourselves too

If Kioso is fit I’d like to see this…

Cumming

Kioso Moore brown Leigh

Brannigan maceachran

Phillips Tyler placheta

Scarlett

Kioso has to start if fit, ter Avest is nowhere near his quality. I can’t remember who it was now but one poster said after his debut that he (ter Avest) would go onto to become Oxfords best signing of the season and would prove to be a pivotal player for us. I’m not sure what he saw then - or since - to say it. I think he got carried away with the goal he scored. ter Avest isn’t much more than alright. I’d also drop Leigh, he hasn’t been great recently, Moore and Long in the middle and Brown reverting to left back. No McEachran for me, nor Rueben and I’d seriously consider resting Tyler. Definitely find a starting place for Phillips and El Mizouni. The team needs freshening up, it’s looked very stale and predictable in recent weeks.

Unfortunately no, the ratings is data provided by a third party.

But we can all give our opinion on the atmosphere in this thread.

I’m not going to predict a score for today all I want is for the players to show up and show what they can do we’ve been off it for weeks now . It’s also time us fans in the stands turn up we’ve been great away from home but at home we’re not so good IT’S time we come together as one players on the pitch fans in the stands . Together we are stronger

3 points off a playoff spot and 11 points from last 5 games, beating Leeds, Burnley, Swansea and drawing with Stoke and Sunderland.

Perhaps explains why I am feeling nervous this morning.

We need to find a way to get something out of this game, but it feels hopeless at that moment.

Hopefully Kioso is fit to play, push Brown back to the left and drop in Long with Moore.

I love Leigh but we need to tighten up, so he warms the bench to impact the game later on.

Phillips and Mizouni gave us some threat when they came on against SU so would like to see them start.

Scarlett to also start .

Tyler… either bring him in central or rest him.

COYY’s

its Saturday , its football day - despite the early kick off and Sup. A Hall's unnecessarily overkill 'policing' being imposed for 12 hours, Im feeling positive for a return to winning ways, 3-1 home win ,Harris back to scoring , and Scarlett with a brace

I'm surprised by the amount of people I've said who want Long and Moore in the middle and Brown at left back ahead of Leigh. He may struggle defensively but I think Leigh gets some unwarranted stick while people ignore how Brown was torn to shreds a few times playing there. It's a very small upgrade, if any, and takes Brown out of his best position to be replaced by Long. Doesn't make sense to me, it could work when you're bringing in someone with the class of Nelson but I don't see it being worthwhile losing some of Brown's performance to shoehorn Long in.

If Kioso is back then I'd like to see him come in, he's probably a bit bigger and stronger than Ter Avest and would balance Leigh out on the other side. I'd start with Phillips and Placheta wide and move Goodrham back into the middle, he's had some criticism recently but he's been asked to do a role out wide that doesn't suit him at all, when he's moved inside he's immediately looked better, I don't know if we've got anyone else who could have did what he did for Scarlett's goal against Boro. That said I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't risk both Placheta and Phillips again, Millwall will sit a lot deeper so perhaps Goodrham will have more joy as opposed to receiving the ball on the halfway line where he doesn't have the pace to cause any damage.

El Miz did well against Sheffield United and I wouldn't mind if he starts next to Goodrham and Cam drops back or if McEachran plays and it's Bran and Goodrham in the middle, either set up should help us control the ball.

Millwall are no mugs and have had some great results recently but they don't create masses of chances and their away form doesn't get close to their home. They're excellently defensively and from set pieces, we'll likely have more of the ball so we need to make sure we use it properly. It might take something special to break them down which is another reason to play Goodrham in the middle, no one else is more likely to score from 20/25 yards which is another string to our bow.

This was the Millwall team set to start versus Portsmouth at Fratton Park. Centre-back Jake Cooper is out for ten weeks with a knee injury.
No Duncan Watmore or Shaun Hutchinson either.

Macauley Langstaff on the bench with Tom Bradshaw in attack.

Murray Wallace and Japhet Tanganga - the two centre-backs. Former Lincoln ‘keeper Lukas Jensen between the sticks.

I do get this.

I absolutely love Leigh, but I think brown has looked a bit more shaky in the middle of late, so just thinking a reset back to the left.

But totally accept your comments and in all honesty if it started kioso, moore , brown, leigh… I would still be fine with that, given the loss of nelson.

Just thinking of leigh bringing a more attacking impact if we needed it later on.

Yes, I have to say I agree with you here.

If we move Brown to left back then who’s playing left-sided centre back - Long?! He’s already struggled recently and now we’re asking him to play on the wrong side? I just don’t see it.

It’s all well and good to say that Leigh has struggled recently but as you say, Brown wasn’t perfect at LB and I’d argue that Long has struggled more than Leigh if anything in the last few games so I’m not sure why we’re rearranging the defence for one and ignoring the problems of the other.

Kioso is key, he should make us stronger at the back, and with Moore back it makes sense to me to reunite him with Brown in the middle. But we’ll see what Des does!

Tough but winnable game today, certainly not a must win but it would sure take sound pressure off the next 3 games which are all very winnable

Agree with all of this. Any slight upgrade at left back with Brown above Leigh is outweighed by long at CB.

I expect we’ll see a lot more of the ball today, so either McEachran or Brannagan at the base of midfield and Placheta and Philips either side of Scarlett.
