yeah got to be a win in the non-derby. they haven't played for two weeks and we've been doing ok. only concern is if Dickie isn't fit does Mous play cb or risk putting Long there and Hanson at rb? 2-0 Henry & Ruffels

I thought Wycombe were crap when we played them at their place – worse than Wimbledon although it took a correct call from the linesman to make sure we did get a point from Adams Park. Leaden-footed and slow with a nasty streak. Even at the low ebb of the start of the season, we should have beaten them and it surprised me to see them as high up the table as they were for so long. We’ve caught up with them since and they’ve sunk to a position I thought they would and it would be a particular boon to nab three points off them and stick them back to where they really should be.

That said, like Gillingham, this could be one we could f**k up easily. Two wins in a row and looking for a third against an eminently beatable side is fraught with danger. I hope KR has the team prepped for a physical battle, a vocal one with Ainsworth and our quality players like Graham, Browne et al fired up to stretch the ageing legs of the Chairboys.

I don't like the injury news coming out of the club. If Mous plays at CB it increases the a**e pucker factor by a factor of 10 at least. And the possibility of our creative players out?

Eesh, sounds like a winner from a set-piece. 1-0 us. Ruffels scores in games like these, so he's my man. Mackie needs to concentrate on playing instead of being a sh*thouse for a change, be tough but don't get wound up.

COYY!

It sure wont be easy on the eye to watch with Ainsworth's ant-football team serving up a plethora of cynical fouls, off the ball shirt pulls n niggles and all manner of other ugly aspects of the game.
Given how we utilised a bit of the dark arts for the last few wins Im confident the mighty U's have enough nous and class to not rise to Wycombe's countless provocations and football will triumph over anti-football.... one unknown factor (today) is how the match officials will officiate this one, including how much of Ainsworth's more controversial anti-football tactics go unpunished! .... like @Eaststandboy I m confident about tomorrows game, 3-1 home win, Henry, Mackie and Browne, and another 3 points won

lol Sarge , I hope he is not playing to many of them little ants as they never stop running round!

We need to be very careful here , and not underestimate them.... They will be boxing clever for sure , but as long as we keep our heads 2-0 to the Yellows.

Same prediction as usual. We'll look like we should really be winning it, but go behind soon after half time, spend the rest of the match chasing it, equalise in the last ten minutes, and because of the whole desperate adventure it will feel a bit like a win, but won't give us the 3 points we really need.

Current form suggests a comfortable home win and I firmly believe that will be the case.

3:0 to the Yellows and thus leaving the Tin Pots right in the shite.

I hope not , it looks like KR , as got the idea , we need to win games now. So keep it tight the first 20 mins and then start the push.
I think we have the bones of a fighting team now and we know all about the type of team they are , so we should be up for all this!
The 3 points will be very hard , but we have the players and the know how. So lets get the 3rd win a row.

Eastwood
Long Nelson Mous Ruffels
Brannagan Kashi
Browne Henry Garbutt
Mackie

Wouldn't risk any with injuries, probably going to be a physical game.
1-0, Mackie.

Wonder if having Kashi in front of Mous will negate his brain fades a little. Agree with gingerox predicted line up, and hopeful that we see the 10% good Garbutt we got last week, not the 90% wtaf are you doing Garbutt

Annual get together with an old mate coincides with the game so we have got him a ticket and booked hotel for the night. Means no driving after the game and a chance to enjoy a few sherries pre-match and maybe another after. Last home game he saw was the same fixture of the promotion season so, omens are good. 3-0 the Yellows and Ainsworth sent to the stands.

I'm very surprised this wasn't originally announced as being All Ticket - and they even let me swap my seats to the NS earlier.
