Not a “must win” but defo a “must not lose.” We should be disappointed with anything less than 3 points but Plymouth are the least predictable side in the Championship. They also have some quality players.

Glad we are playing them whilst they still have Wayne as manager.

2-0, Scarlett double (because why not)

I dunno they have been pretty predictable away from home. 12 games, 10 defeats, scored 3, conceded 33.

Not saying tomorrow will be simple though. They know they haven’t had a better game all season to break their away day duck.

I’m not sure we’ll see Scarlett in an Oxford shirt again.

3-0 Oxford, Harris to get at least 1.

It’s a must win for me too. I don’t care how we get there but 3 points today is vital. They’ll be thinking exactly the same and will be backed by their usual vocal following. I’m not expecting a classic encounter and pretty confident this won’t be one for the purists. A nail biting 2-1. Hold on tight!
COYY.

I don’t think this is a ‘must win’ simply because even if we lose, there are still enough points available to us over the rest of the season to stay up.

However, if we don’t win today and we finish the season a couple of points behind 21st, then it becomes a ‘must win in hindsight’. This isn’t a new category of game, but it now has a formal name. You’re welcome.

It’s definitely a ‘6-pointer’ though, both in hindsight and foresight.

Scarlett is going no-where… he’s getting game time in the championship, scoring some goals, it’s where he needs to be for his development and doing a job for us.

Would still like another striker in but we need competition for places!!!

Be very happy to come away with another much needed win. I am not so sure that Plymouth are going to lay down that easy mind. They had a stinker in the first half at Coventry, but the two previous games three nil up at half time v Middlesbrough. Then only losing away to Sheffield Utd by two goals while having twice as many shots at goal as the Blades, shows they have something. Still pretty confident, hope we don't give away stupid goals thats all.

Absolutely right. Personally I think this will be tougher than the Cardiff game. They’ll be bang up for it and see it as a real opportunity. I feel like Cardiff turned up thinking they have more quality than us and if they play their game they’ll win the game. Plymouth may turn it into more of a scrap.

I think it’s a huge opportunity for us. There’s pressure on both teams, but it feels like an early goal would be a big mental setback for Plymouth in their current form. So a quick start I think is key, get the ball forward quickly and see how they cope with it.

I don’t buy into all the “must win” stuff, not sure it really makes any difference what fans label it as. But should we win, it sets us up really nicely for a trip to Millwall to try and make this a huge week in our survival battle. A run of good results strung together is what’s going to buy us some breathing space, so today is a huge opportunity to turn this into a run.

Massive game today. It's amazing the difference a win and decent performance has on expectations.

Really hope to see Placheta looking lively again - they've got major injury issues so it's likely to be a centre half at left back which would suit him.

They're also missing their main attacking options so this is a good time to be playing them. An early goal could see their fans turn on Rooney too.

I can see us starting the same team as againat Cardiff but wouldn't be against pushing Tyler inside and starting Dembele if he's fit enough.

Good to have options off the bench if we start tiring which I can see being the difference today.

3-1 Oxford

A comfortable 4-1 home win .

New manager bounce again with a defined structure & organisation to our side.

Any team losing at home to this lot will probably be playing Stevenage & Shrewsbury next season and deserve to be relegated .

All the take a draw specialists on here today 😆. It's our easiest game of the season. ......They've travelled 7412 miles since they last won an away game .

It's a must WIN.
