Tomorrow night & Saturday versus Malaga left to go before the real stuff begins. You’d like to think we’ll go full strength for 60-65 minutes in this before they get the full 90 on the weekend.

Cumming
Spencer Helik Moore Currie
Keersmaecker Brannagan
Placheta L’Harris Goodrham
M’Harris

Subs: Ingram, Kioso, Long, Leigh, Phillips, Mills, Sibley, Dembele, Bradshaw
+
Golding/Campbell?/O’Donkor
*No injury updates on Ter-Avest, Brown & Vaulks yet from the club so presume they won’t be involved?

If any of those three are fit to play I can't see them getting more than half an hour, building up to an hour on Saturday. I guess it also depends on whether they want to rest Helik and Shemmy after their injuries on Saturday. They might also give Bradshaw the first hour over Marris, or try someone else in the 10 role over Larris?

Will happily and graciously adopt Marris and Larris moving forward, thank you

Out of the two Spanish games this should be the sterner test and a big step up in quality from Saturday.

Our stadium might be bigger (by 46 seats), but CD Leganes were unlucky to get relegated from La Liga after wins against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid last season (finishing just one point behind Seville and Girona). Malaga were 16th in Liga 2 following promotion from the third tier.

Wiki says their fans 'have friendly ties with Reading F.C. of England'.

Should see a strong XI. Maybe try out a Plan B formation.

First pre-season match of the summer for me. Looking forward to seeing the likes of BDK, Spencer and Currie in the flesh for the first time, but I must admit I was hoping there might be a few more new faces in the squad. Perhaps the allusive striker will be announced pre-match!?

Are you alluding to an elusive striker? If someone has signed and is in the building he will be announced, like Larris, this afternoon - well before the line-up is announced

No, I was referring to Mark Harris and his frequent allusion to wanting a strike partner but being too scared to actually come out and say it for fear of being sent back to Wales.

Looking foward to this, then Saturday, then the next Saturday

Completely agree. We are past the time for giving every member of the squad minutes. Nows the time to start looking at the team for Pompey and giving them a much time as possible together on the pitch.

Agree but I am sure that we won't risk anybody even with slight knocks.
Will be interesting to see if Helek, Shemmy play this evening.
I wonder how close Ciaran Brown is?

I've seen this isn't streaming anywhere from an OUFC perspective. Anyone know if our Spanish counterparts are doing any streaming for the game?

Last minute change of plans means I've got an adult and U13 ticket going unused in the family stand. Free to a good home, just drop me a DM.

I have just looked on their website and nothing about the game at all. :(
OUFCX
To be fair - I was looking at the socials earlier today, had pics of their mascot outside Big Ben, and players at Madrid Airport with a 👋 to OUFC

Hopefully he plays Dale and Negru tonight so there is more chance of other clubs noticing them.
And deprive players who will play a part of game time?

Dale has been available for a long time, clubs are certainly aware.

Not sure on the exact situation with Negru, but it sounded like the initial plan was to take him to Indonesia but like Golding he suffered a set back in injury recovery.
