You can imagine having prepared for Moore and Brown as the centre back pairing turning up and finding it to be Nelson and Moore with Brown at LB.
Score was 0-0 but in reality was Buckingham 1 Parker 0 as that decision created our best 2 players Saturday. Against such opposition got to admire going with Plan B with the tried and trusted Plan A as a back up.

We've got to get out of the habit of assuming that it's a problem if a player is played in a position other than the one we, individually, think he should be playing in.

Brown and Moore's partnership is an excellent one, but Brown is more defensively-minded and so against a team we allowed to have so much possession, he was the obvious choice at LB over Leigh with Bennett injured.

That's why we've got the squad we've got - so we can play different people in different positions to suit different systems against different oppositions.

Exactly.

It's why we brought on Dale over Ebiowei for example since we needed a disciplined winger who can defend and support the full back compared to Bristol City where we brought on Ebiowei to try and help us break through their defence to earn an equaliser

What a terrible bit of vlogging that is. Unprepared, no real insight, and yes we know there are three stands and you can see the car park - it must have been mentioned half a dozen times at least. And no, we can neither move the station to be closer to Grenoble Road nor vice versa. Do your research before you set off!

I’m just reflecting that we spent a long time with KR arguing that we needed a DoF, but that’s all gone quiet now. It turns out that what we really needed was a decent strategist and a manager who listen to them.

Sounds like bad planning, to not carry a battery pack and not realise the distance from the station to the venue is a bit tinpot!

Tbf, he may not realise things like a battery pack exist as he must be 20+ years behind after being surprised having discovered we only have 3 stands.

Which is more than can be said about Idris El Mizouni!😂
Most professional footballers in fact, which to this day still amazes me, a bit like players that take corners not being able to beat the first man (looking at you Vaulks)

I think that is because what we really needed at the time was someone, anyone to restrain KR and to apply a bit of considered, modern management where little existed.

Why does the chav turn northern when they sing songs but southern when talking??

Complaining the train station is too far away is like me complaining the Kassam isnt at the bottom of my garden.

How does my hair look by the way!??

Not to nitpick but I presume you mean the Bolton 0-0? That was a great game, a really compelling goalless draw. The derby home game was genuinely one of the most one-sided I’ve ever seen - the ball was barely in their half!
Yes you're right, it was Bolton, and pedantry is always welcome!

Gets to the game late because he didn’t realise how far away the station is, phone runs out of charge during the game, and all he can say about the game was it was a bit s**t.
Add to it the whiny comments about the atmosphere always being bad ‘down south’, we only have one chant, oh and guess what, we only have three stands. Not the most insightful vlog. Must try harder.
That's 13 minutes of my life I can't get back.
