And most of our fans (though not me) think he should have been sent off that day after a rash charge out of his area and taking out Kyle Joseph........(I thought that Joseph's usual trampoline touch that was taking him off to the corner flag justified the ref letting him off with a yellow)

The rule isn't 'if the striker has taken a trampoline touch then it's not a red card' though, is it?

Also I don't think his touch was that bad in that instance. He was probably rushing it because the keeper was flying out recklessly.
