I thought he was generally fine.
Didn't dish out cards or give much ( which I prefer).
Made a bit of a rod for his own back in the first half by stopping the game when their players went down for non head injuries.

(From watching online only) I thought he was bog standard. His decisions about when to stop the game or not when players were injured seemed a bit random, and I didn't really think he was consistent (or timely) with some of the other decisions either. He didn't spoil the game though (I know that is a low bar!). 5

Didn't follow the advantage rule consistently. Stopped play for every player down, although again, not consistently. Seen better.

Ok. A 6 from me.

Stopping for non-head 'injuries' (the first was just their player trying to buy a free kick) for Burnley but not for potential head injuries for us was really poor.

Genuinely amusing that he forgot who took out their player when El Miz should have been booked. The Ref trying to work out who it was and having to settle for warning Will Vaulks who was the wrong man was just superb.

Tried to let the game flow though so credit for that. Also wasn't overly picky with challenges which was good.

It probably helped that both teams didn't push the fouling or complain too much.

It was Vaulks…

Agree with this. He was inconsistent and missed a few things, but - as others have said - because there was no malice in the game, this didn't really matter.
The most annoying thing was stopping the game for the first Burnley injury, because after that, he really has to do so every time, as he's established it as an expectation.
Good to see a booking for impeding a free kick. You will notice that it worked.

Yeah it was really funny. Clearly lost track of who did it. I thought it was a clear booking. Reminded me of John Cleese in the Life of Brian.
"Alright who threw that?"

s**t ref. ,a decent ref would of booked the cheating Burnley players for faking injuries.
He played on to bring it back ,for the player to miraculously get up .
No physio ,no stecher cheats . Booking all day long. s**t ref.
Collina wouldn't have that s**t..
