Along similar lines, when Cumming takes a goal kick and EVERY SINGLE PLAYER goes to the left, I'd like to see Placheta / right winger stay far right side.. and then wang it over that way.
Would be quite nice to see the opposition take the resulting throw in from the other side of the pitch, I suppose 😀

Steady on, you would need to find a couple of new experienced first team coaches to do that sort of thing, you know, coaches that have a bit of life in them and actually have the ability to offer something different. Our stale long standing first team coaches wouldn’t have a clue where to start never mind trying to implement something like that!

I do have a problem with the 'Cumming kicking the ball to a bloke on the touchline to head it' routine - and it isn't that the keeper sometimes overhits it. It is that even if it is pinpoint accurate, we never seem to win the ball after the resultant header! It's another one of those things that we seem to have fallen into doing and persisting with even when it doesn't work very well.

Change the record dear

Came across this on YT. Very West Brom focused, but some interesting context on exactly who we might need to overhaul to get out of the mire. And a few passing references to us being ok at the weekend!

(Apologies if posted elsewhere already!)

If you’re still in Ronda get yourself up the hill to restaurant Akelarre Tenderloin steak great staff best rest and off tourist trap.
@Aussi86 many thanks for the recommendation which I have only just seen, hence the delay in replying.

We left Ronda on Sunday morning (to do the El Caminito del Rey walk - highly recommended - followed by 3 nights in Cordoba) anyway so it would have been too late, but I will add restaurant Akelarre to my notes for future reference. Bar El Lechuguita was our favourite in Ronda - great entertainment and amazing service. Avoid Restaurante Casa Mateos - don't know how it has some of its good reviews - we though it way overpriced and some of the food not great.
