Depends on the quality of the new CB, new CM, new RW and new ST though...if those are all hits, then things would be rosy!Well thats not going to win this league ,best 6 or 7th postion.
It worked with Matt Phillips tbf.Why do people think that you can just click your fingers and get rid of a player you don't want, when that player is under contract?
Really,if youre thinking like that we will be below that.
I think I heard the TV is around £3m, but I could be wrong.Considering our 2025 revenue in the Championship was:
Matchday: £3,267,000
Broadcast: £11,454,000
Commercial: £4,278,00
Total: £18,999,000
We will obviously see a drop in TV revenue in League One (to ~2m?), but under the SCMP we can only commit 60% of this revenue to wages - although teams dropping from the Championship are given some flex in the first season.
I think I have this right, @tonyw is the guy for this, I'm sure he will correct me, but surely crude math suggests a significant drop in wages? As such, I imagine we will have to utilise the players we have who wish to stay, or look to find buyers for those not fancied/want to leave.
I cannot stand Kioso, plays with attitude, thinks he has more time than he has which ultimately ends up with him having to make a rash challenge. Poor on the ball and didn’t offer much going forward. I’d get rid/loan out again.I certainly wouldn’t be rushing Kioso out the door - not sure how he got on this season but I think he’s very useful at this level. He’s a character, competitive and played a lot of games at a good level. To look at it another way, if Spencer were sold and we bought Kioso in his place, a proven L1 player in a similar mould, I think we’d be pretty satisfied.
HTA I presume will move on, a player we’ve criminally wasted but his injury record hasn’t helped.
If we ended up going in to next season with Spencer and Kioso as right back options and Sam Long in an emergency, and that’s the level of depth you need in 8 or 9 positions to be thinking about automatic promotion.
We'd have no-one left if we got rid of everyone you don't rate. And we'd have to replace them with Champions League winners or you still wouldn't be happyI cannot stand Kioso, plays with attitude, thinks he has more time than he has which ultimately ends up with him having to make a rash challenge. Are there any Dutch influencers with an Indonesian nan that we could perhaps prioritise before taking a punt on Caraka? If we need a new centre forward then we should probably take a look at Hokky Caraka. With 4 goals in 28 appearances in the Indonesia Super League he is undoubtedly absolute shite, but on the other hand he is registered with Level Up Asia, whose Director is our new Chairman. So it's a deal that feels right for us for all the wrong reasons and we'd be mad to turn down the opportunity because we need Thohir to build us a new stadium.

Why are you making this an either/or situation when we can simply have both? Yes it will weaken the team but the vibes on Insta would be insane. Are there any Dutch influencers with an Indonesian nan that we could perhaps prioritise before taking a punt on Caraka?

Yeah because they're comparableI wouldn’t even joke about things like that when you consider we paid more money for Romeny than Millwall paid for Azeez..

Looks like we are interested in Tyrese Noslin a right wing back who can play center back or right midfield

We're not mentioned at all, but wondering if anyone knows anything about this guy (I'd not heard of him).
McDonnell would be on this list if he was still at mansfield.......Widely considered to be one of the best Defensive midfielders in League 1.
For comparison at that level, other highly rated players in that position are:
Archie Collins-Posh [now a Free Agent]
Harvey White-Stevenage
Luca Connell-Barnsley
Hakeem Odoffin-Luton
Pat Kelly-Barnsley
Dan Phillips-Stevenage
The way it's going we could probably play 5 Right Backs in that formation.Lot's of people won't like any indication that we may play 5 at the back.

Confused me for a second there. I was thinking wow, what a coincidence that there are so many Defensive Midfielders in League 1 with double barreled last names!Widely considered to be one of the best Defensive midfielders in League 1.

Kioso had a stinker at Peterborough, I know a couple of supporters and they said he was a disaster waiting to happen, basically what he was with us.I certainly wouldn’t be rushing Kioso out the door - not sure how he got on this season but I think he’s very useful at this level.
