Transfer Window 26/27 Summer Embargo Window

For Andrews it feels like it was the perfect storm - Coventry didn't need the money that much because of the PL income, and they knew Andrews needs game time. A League One club recently in the Championship has the best level of competitiveness for places, playing in a team that's likely to win more than lose, and also giving Andrews the minutes he needs. Then add in the fact that he's a Wales international and a former Welsh international star is our manager, then everything aligned for Coventry to do the deal. I don't see that happening elsewhere, unless it's something like a Welsh youngster from Arsenal.
One name that comes up in relation to a Welsh youngster at Arsenal is Brayden Clarke, a centre back and Wales under 19 international.

Just to be nice to Greg Leigh you would rather us have some teenager on loan who likely ends up playing in the national north in a few years time? All while we have a thin squad as we are under embargo? We have one available left back other than Leigh at the moment, Roosken is injured and Brown plays centre back, we really are not packed out in any position.
Oh come on, that’s not what I said though.
Leigh is good enough for regular L1 football. Currie is the man and there is cover here for a few games….Rooksen, Spencer, Brown can play there, and we are currently in a situation with Harris GOD as our striking options and injuries within the spine of our team.

The worry there is Helik has a 'modest' buy out clause I'm lead to believe. If a Polish club club meets that clause, which is very possible he'll be gone and we won't be able to get someone else in making CB cover very limited.
Perhaps he isn't ready to go back to Poland yet. I mean Shemmy is in the US - haven't seen much about how he's doing btw.

That's a big concern, yeah.

In his interview he didn’t sound like a player who wants to leave

BDK - player loan swap with Bristol City 🤔

Apologies if I read it wrong. I think the biggest problem with being in this embargo is how it limits any incomings in so many ways though, find it hard to believe we will be able to get a centre forward who is much use to us on loan for zero cash, so I am, unless we can manage something clever, probably happier with a better the devil you know attitude at the moment. Not that I have any say in what happens obviously.

Biancheri? Striker/forward from Man Utd. Originally from Cardiff. Part of Wales youth teams. Last season on loan at Rotherham where he didnt get much action. Would provide some cover across the front positions.

Not in any way ITK just a young welsh player in a position we need, at a big club who might do us a favour if anyone else leaves.

Well this is boring isn’t it! I’m trying to decide if I prefer transfer windows when Erick has given up the ghost completely and is just keeping the lights on or when Robbo is running absolutely wild and replacing our Top striker with Tyler Smith.
Can’t tell if you keep beating the same drum about Erick to simply get a bite or whether you are genuinely just stubborn in your thinking. Possible it’s the latter, but you’ve managed to get a bite anyway. It’s quite clear we needed a reset and a clear-out this summer, and it’s not a shock to think an owner wouldn’t simply throw £10million+ at the problem when the stadium is so close and the people responsible for mismanaging the funds are still in the club. We’ve seen a lot of change over this summer and most if not all of it indicates we are cutting down on unnecessary costs and ensuring better decision making happens behind the scenes. Tim Williams departure is just more proof of that

Think he’s got a broken bone in his back?
It may well be. I just saw "back issue" could mean a few things slipped disc etc. Ramsay said months for both of them but jeon it seemed less bad "couple of months" mentioned . So let's hope it's on the mend and he is back sooner rather than later. One month now passed since that news on the first of August.

Normally with these sort of clauses there is also a date that the clause has to be activated so hopefully that date has passed think also think i read that it was only if a championship side cane in for him with BDK the club would be happy to let him go if the clause is met is how I read it

It happened at the Aldershot game, he pulled up holding his back with no opposition around him. Shame as he looked really exciting for the 20 mins he was on, an excellent Mills replacement if he stays fit.
