Regardless, he's managed to help convince many fans that Mills was a done deal when it appears that it's far from that. A fee hasn't been agreed with clubs, and they were talking about him having a medical yesterday... We will get a better idea on Saturday with the lineup, or potentially with training photos before then

Yes they can if oxford give written permission
But then this person says player power needed
If we have given permission for mills to speak then we have basically said yes to a transfer as long as Preston can meet what we want so there is no need for player power

Yep, they've referenced Whiteman's departure, so they're suggesting it would need to be a similar case with Mills refusing to play to force a move. As it stands, the only people who've spoken on this move have been Preston ITK and Nixon, who've both said very different things. Can't say he's completed a medical and announcement imminent if the clubs haven't even agreed a fee...

The transfer fee and wages come off the 65% of turnover so if the transfer fee was £3m and its paid now and not spread over 3 years and mills was on £10k a week
The total off the 65% would be £3.5m
(if no sell on clause)

But still won’t solve proof of funding by 1 July 2026?

So cutting wage bill now achieves nothing if we can still pay the wages and other bills ? Other than cutting costs.

Incorrect - From the 2026–27 season onward, the Championship uses Squad Cost Rules (SCR), capping spending on player and manager costs at 85% of football income, backed by a flexible owner equity top-up allowance of £33 million over a rolling three-year period (max £15 million per season). This replaces the old Profitability and Sustainability (P&S) limits of £39 million in losses over three years. Your £105m is completely wrong.Budget rules I sent to you on the 27th July, do you need a further copy?
