Wednesday are days offStan isnt there
who else has he followed?Strange for his dad to follow Preston when he’s got no affiliation with them at all I’d say.
Probably can’t afford Mills to leave, but then we can’t afford to let this financial situation linger on either and I don’t see how it’s solved without significant outgoings.
I mean no deal we do is going to get us out of the embargo completely unless we have a complete fire sale of players, which I don’t see as feasible.Apparently there is no financial issue, though. We’re opting in to an embargo we could get out of if the “timing” were different and we’re assured the ability to pay wages is unaffected. So at face value the money is not as important as having the player, for now at least.
This is where my fixation on the price tag comes from (more so than “is he worth that?”) - unless it’s a deal that lifts us out of the embargo then it wouldn’t be worth doing, it would just do us further harm.
Like you, I’d have liked to see us re-jig our finances well before now but if we choose now to do it, we can’t go part way. It’s all - with budget to replace - or nothing. That is unless things change and wages become difficult.
Don’t know, merely commented he follows Preston & as far as I can tell has no affiliation or reason to do so.who else has he followed?
But he is funding it just not how the efl want him tooI mean no deal we do is going to get us out of the embargo completely unless we have a complete fire sale of players, which I don’t see as feasible.
I just also don’t see how ET will take us out of it in January as I don’t think 1 sale will be enough along with any transfer of new stadium costings.
I just think a complete reset is needed. We pay decent sized wages for this division and currently at this time it’s not sustainable with everything else going on.
ET seemingly doesn’t want to fund it all at once, that’s what has got teams circling thinking they can take advantage, now we may be being steadfast and resolute but not sure we can continue that attitude given the fact that ET is going to have to invest some equity at somepoint to get us out of this embargo or we could be looking at points deductions.
who else has he followed?
I don't expect ET is too impressed by being held to ransom by EFL. He phoned home and family said "fuvk the EFL".But he is funding it just not how the efl want him too
Efl want it all in one big lump sum
Et wants to fund it like he has done in previous years which was completely acceptable to the efl by investing it monthly
It speaks for itself wouldn’t you say, the facts are clear as daylight ! When Bloomfield took over the reigns at OUFC he was given a near impossible task but he had the team playing unfortunately to no avail . He was shafted in my opinion which like everyone can have .Where's yours
and he wants his significant investment in the new stadium project recognised! Not sure how many times you need to repeat the same messageBut he is funding it just not how the efl want him too

Yeah, but not about the embargo!Nonsense
Mills was always going to be sold Ramsey would have known this
He was shite Saturday, but then got a goal!Mills is good but not that good
Behave yourself
Sounds like Trump! So it was done, and now it’s as good as done? Tomorrow will it be nearly done?
We can’t be sure what happens between now and the end of the window but I don’t think it’s done or as good as done.
Unless he’s babysitting! As I keep saying we can put this to bed once and for all if someone could pop down to the training ground
If Stan isn’t there we will know
Nixon is usually bang on - I’ve really enjoyed the football we’ve played under Grant McCannSo far, Nixon has been the reporter posting the most info on Mills news. He posted that Preston was interested in him, and he's been replying to fans who've asked how much we have valued Mills at. I've checked his page, and plenty of fans are asking for any update on Mills, and there's radio silence. You'd think if he knew something, he'd have posted a story by now. Just seems weird that all of this has come from just Preston fans instead of actual reporters
Yes indeed my point being if he had of walked it would have been when the embargo was announced, not Stan leaving which was always on the cardsYeah, but not about the embargo!
Ramsey hasn't and doesn't think losing Mills has always been on the cards so best to nip that line in the bud.Yes indeed my point being if he had of walked it would have been when the embargo was announced, not Stan leaving which was always on the cards

Well let’s hope his monthly payments get us out of the embargo by January then, because if they don’t serious questions will need to be answered. But he is funding it just not how the efl want him too

Depends on the wage bill and what the gap is as ive constantly said being at 65% is pointless it needs to be closer to 55%Well let’s hope his monthly payments get us out of the embargo by January then, because if they don’t serious questions will need to be answered.
Ooh a mind reader!Ramsey hasn't and doesn't think losing Mills has always been on the cards so best to nip that line in the bud.

If you say so, but is it any more mind reading than saying he has expected him to be sold?Ooh a mind reader!
And I listen and respect what you say Billy.Depends on the wage bill and what the gap is as ive constantly said being at 65% is pointless it needs to be closer to 55%
