Im hoping for over 4 million, but I doubt itI looked on the Preston forum, they seem to think they got mills for a significant amount ? Also the guy from Charlton, they have apparently sold their captain to Wrexham to fund it?
Just passing on what I’ve been told. Can’t tell you his source of course but he says there’s no doubting what has been relayed. Danny Mills has also started following PNE on instagram apparently, if that’s of any consequence. Very much hope it’s all wrong of course.I wouldn't take a poster's pne-supporting friend's good source as being too much to worry about

I've just checked, he isn't. Maybe Danny is, like Rubens dad did before he signedJust passing on what I’ve been told. It's not as simple as that and I don't think we would beIF Mills AND BdK go then we will be out of the transfer embargo and will be able to bring in replacements.
Pretty sure danny is unless I've gotten the wrong account.I've just checked, he isn't. Maybe Danny is, like Rubens dad did before he signed(Danny isn't following pneofficial either).
I’d like him to cut his cloth accordingly and run the club in a way that stops us just racking up more and more debt. I think that is starting to happen. What do you want him to do?
I think the same about BDK but thought Mills would go with or without the embargoIF Mills AND BdK go then we will be out of the transfer embargo and will be able to bring in replacements.
But I'll be amazed if Mills leaves, and would put the likelihood of BdK going at no greater than 20/80.
OK, must have missed it. Stan isn't.Danny is following Preston on InstagramView attachment 36816

There is a difference, money spent on the stadium is building an asset whereas money spent on players just vanishesBut funding the club runs up more debt every month, building the stadium will rack up loads more debt. Are you trying to say there's 'racking up more debt' and there's 'just racking up more debt'?
He has a release clause.Why?
Did you actually mean 'Exiting Times' ? Hope it's not true.Come what may we go with the players we have . Mills ect was just passing through our ranks to climb into a higher echelon club , it’s life and we have to accept it ! However, if we go under the 23 player cap I’m sure Ramsey will have something lined up , he is aware of the interest in some of his players maybe some exiting times ahead , never a dull moment at OUFC !!
How so? Because that's not what the rules on the EFL embargo page are telling usIt's not as simple as that and I don't think we would be
Doesn’t matter if he does or not if the club in question doesn’t meet the release clause. He has a release clause.
If you were him, would you want to stay?

No but someone has to pay it firstHe has a release clause.

Because someone would still have to show the EFL that they can afford the level of spend. It would be cheaper to do so, in which case maybe Thohir would do it, but you’d think if that was a genuine option then they’d have pushed the sales through at the first sign of trouble. The communication from the club is generally terrible, but they’ve been crystal clear about the fact that they plan is to retain players rather than sell them. How so? Signed for Doncaster last weekIf the embargo is lifted and as seems likely Stan leaves will we renew our interest in Thomas formally of Cheltenham who was reportedly going to sign with Wintle a few weeks back
He may have signed for another club of course

I know we've spoken about this before, but can I just check the logic again, Scotch. SCMP rules state that only 65% of turnover (and 65% of equity injections) can be spent on 1st team squad / manager costs by year 1 relegated clubs. The remaining 35% must be spent elsewhere (infrastructure, academy given as examples). I don't get where you're getting the 'same amount again' from. Are you conflating it with the 50% number for non-related clubs, perhaps? This has never been about covering the level of operational spends for the season. This is about doing this AND paying the shortfall that arises from the 65% ruling and putting the same amount again into infrastructure that we haven't got.
The reason they plan on retaining players (and the reason why I don't believe Mills or BdK will go) is to buy time to either bring in additional investment or to offset the overspend on stadium costs (once we get the green light).
