The forum would encourage all members to consider joining OxVox during this important moment in our history. See here for more information.
Don’t forget that even when we were spending Kip was not happy and saying Bargain Bucket and we should be spending more!So let me get this straight, we are under an embargo because we have spent the last few years over spending, you now want us to get the embargo lifted and then have the owner to keep ploughing money into the club to add more debt?
I'm honestly getting a bit confused with the whole embargo situation now. On one hand we're being told we can't really do business because of the financial restrictions, but on the other hand there are already reports linking us with players again. Apparently Oxford are one of the clubs interested in Sami Jalal, alongside Copenhagen and Brøndby.
Hopefully the club gets this embargo situation sorted soon because I'd actually like to see us bring someone like Jalal in. Sounds like exactly the type of young signing we should be making if we're able to.
It takes a man to write what you have written! Respect to you !I would like to apologise for my behaviour yesterday evening.
I haven't mentioned this before, as it's a private issue, but I suffer from pretty full on ADHD, and as a result I can sometimes have trouble regulating my moods, emotions and reactions to things.
If not kept in check, this can easily lead to meltdowns, and fallouts, and I can get aggressive, and find it hard to let things go.
This happened last night.
I genuinely was only trying to have a little joke with Colin B with what was my (seemingly poor!) attempt at pedantic humour, I honestly wasn't trying to provoke or twist anyones words, I was just trying to be humorous, and I clearly failed!
After Colin replied in (lets be honest) quite a rude way, it triggered me, and I admit, I had a bit of a meltdown, and got quite aggressive, which I whole heartedly apologise for.
It actually effected the rest of my evening, as I wasn't able to regulate my mood and calm down, and I was pretty wound up for the rest of the evening.
Usually Mrs MD (bless her) is around to notice when I'm showing signs of "slipping into one" as we call it, and she can usually always help me "come back down" and relax, usually with her unique blend of calmness, affection, and her amazing sense of humour, but she was out for the evening.
It was only when she got home, and saw how rattled I was, that she was able to get me to chill out, and go to bed!
As I say, it's a private issue that I've never mentioned before, and don't wish to discuss, or receive any special treatment for, and I'm usually very much in control of the condition, but sometimes it's not so easy, and I just wanted to apologise for any disruption or offence my meltdown may have caused.![]()

Fair play for explaining your behaviour when really it’s no one’s business but yours.I would like to apologise for my behaviour yesterday evening.

one thing i noticed, your use of exclamation marks and emojis in this post has helped me ascertain the tone and better context of what you are saying. You should do this when having a joke/banter on a forum so people know thats what your are doing. e.g a winking face after the second 'so hes wrong', as i did read it far more aggresively than you probably intended. i dont think it excuses Colin from reacting like a jerk thoughI would like to apologise for my behaviour yesterday evening.

We're now at the permitted 23 and Kent will now be allowed to play for us when fit! Will miss him, Hope it helps the wage bill he is a top pro and the work he did off the pitch was top notch. Thanks will for all your efforts..
Hopefully we have enough depth in midfield and can push on.
What are the squad numbers now.
Lets hope its in the play offs final at Wembley next year ,We're now at the permitted 23 and Kent will now be allowed to play for us when fit!
So in our 23 we have to include Kent, Roosken and Jin Woo, therefore for a couple of months at least then we have 20 man squad? And for even longer than that we will have at best a 21 man squad (with Roosken and Kent out long term)? Other clubs can leave out long term injuries for the first half of the season but we effectively can’t as we are under a very harsh embargo. We're now at the permitted 23 and Kent will now be allowed to play for us when fit!
I think we’d be nuts to register Kent given he’s supposed to be out for the season. Certainly I wouldn’t be considering it until the January transfer window.
Apologies, thought it was squad registration. We can’t just deregister players.
It’s club registration, not squad registration.
Well club registration and squad registration are two different things. Vaulks going out means that the space opens up for Kent to be registered as an Oxford player this window as one of the 'permitted' 23. We're the only club that has to follow this rule because we're in the embargo. So in our 23 we have to include Kent, Roosken and Jin Woo, therefore for a couple of months at least then we have 20 man squad? Gammon doesn’t think Gammon just does what it wantsI feel he thinks he can get away with this because of the work he's put into the club. He can't and needs to be called out for this.
Vaulks was not a loan. Where do we sit, at 23 or 22?Sorry but we are not under 23 players
Permitted Player leaving the Club on loan does not reduce the number of eligible players the Club is deemed to have
Permitted Player = is any Player who has, at any point during his career, started in 3 League Matches in the same or higher division as the Club that the Player is currently registered with, or is registered with the Club during the period of time that the Club is subject to a registration embargo.
But romeny isVaulks was not a loan. Where do we sit, at 23 or 22?
Saying it's 2.5 mil in the post too... It kind of makes sense. If they pull off that deal they have probably upgraded on the guy they just sold. Would be great business tbf.Pete O Rourke now saying Preston in for BDK. 2.5 mil release clause.
Looks like the does he/doesn’t he have a release clause chat will be back. Nice guessing game on the amount too.
Where’s this been reported?Pete O Rourke now saying Preston in for BDK. 2.5 mil release clause.

I was thinking the same, haven’t seen the link on his X and not on that footy insider page unless it’s well hidden.Where’s this been reported?
Who said we were under? We're now on 23Sorry but we are not under 23 players
